De Britse groep heeft tot dusver twee albums uitgebracht, te weten Down In Albion (2005) en Shotter's Nation (2007). Down In Albion werd geproduceerd door Mick Jones, voormalig lid van The Clash. Onder Shotter's Nation staat de handtekening van Stephen Street, onder andere bekend van zijn werk met Blur.--------------------------Biografie Zanger Pete Doherty begon zijn carrire bij The Libertines, een succesvolle Engelse groep wiens invloeden in de hedendaagse muziek nog steeds doorklinken. The Libertines gingen uit elkaar vanwege de alcohol- en drugsproblemen van Pete Doherty. Doherty vormde zijn eigen band, Babyshambles. De overige Libertines, waaronder de andere zanger Carl Barat gingen zonder Pete Doherty verder als Dirty Pretty Things. Na een moeizame aanloopperiode met vele wisselingen in de bezetting, stabiliseerde de bezetting van Babyshambles zich in de zomer van 2004. Vanaf toen bestond Babyshambles uit het viertal Pete Doherty (zanger), Patrick Walden (gitaar), Gemma Clarke (drum) en Drew McConnell (bas). Van deze originele bezetting zijn alleen Doherty en McConnell nog over. De plekken van Patrick Walden en Gemma Clarke zijn overgenomen door Mick Whitnall en Adam Ficek. Op 18 januari 2006 werd bekend dat Babyshambles een contract voor drie albums had getekend bij platenlabel Parlophone. Deze samenwerking heeft geleid tot het uitbrengen van The Blinding EP in 2006 en de recente release van full-length album Shotter's Nation. In het najaar van 2007 zal Babyshambles beginnen met een Arena Tour. Deze tour brengt Babyshambles onder andere langs de Wembley Arena in London, de MEN Arena in Manchester en Birmingham's National Indoor Arena. Tevens zal Babyshambles ook buiten Groot-Brittanni touren en daarbij Nederland aandoen: op 17 januari 2008 staat de band in de Effenaar in Eindhoven en de dag daarna in het Amsterdamse Paradiso.-------------------------Discografie Het debuutalbum van Babyshambles, genaamd Down In Albion, kwam 14 november 2005 uit. Van dit album kwamen de singles Killamangiro, welke eerst de titel Kill A Man For His Giro had, Fuck Forever en Albion. Op 4 december 2006 bracht de groep The Blinding EP uit. Van dit album is de titelsong The Blinding als single verschenen. Deze EP bevat 5 tracks en is het voorsmaakje van het nieuwe full-album die op 1 oktober 2007 zijn release kende. In tegenstelling tot geruchten op verschillende forums heet dit album Shotter's Nation en niet French Dog Blues. De eerste single van Shotter's Nation heet Delivery en stond een week na release op de zesde plaats in de BBC Singles Chart. My Chemical Romance are rock band formed in 2001. Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Ray Toro, Mikey Way, and Bob Bryar, who replaced original drummer Matt Pelissier.
formed by frontman Gerard Way and ex-drummer Matt Pelissier around a week after the September 11, 2001 attacks. Gerard had witnessed the planes crashing into the World Trade Center. It influenced his life to the extent that he decided to start a band. Gerard wrote the song "Skylines and Turnstiles" to express his feelings about September 11th. Shortly thereafter, Ray Toro was called up
first recordings where the songs "Our Lady of Sorrows" (then called "Bring More Knives") and "Cubicles" were recorded. Mikey Way, the younger brother of Gerard, loved the demo so much that he decided to join the band.
My Chemical Romance was signed with Eyeball Records and played in the same room as Pencey Prep and Thursday. It was there that the band met Frank Iero, the lead vocalist and guitarist for Pencey Prep. After Pencey Prep broke up in 2001 or 2002, Frank became a guitarist for mcr
On August 3, 2006, the band finished shooting the videos for their first two singles from the album, The video was directed by Sam Bayer, director of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Green Day's American Idiot videos.
