ABOUT THE VID
I went to see Wicked in London's West End with my school on the 11th of July. I knew none of the songs, nothing of the plot, only that it was about the Wicked Witch of the West - Elphaba - and Glinda the Good (if you've seen the musical, you'll know how very basic that is!). But I was enchanted by it, I laughed, I cried and I got goosebumps all up my arms from Kerry Ellis' fantastic singing.
The song "For Good" is sung by Glinda and Elphaba near the end. It's a beautiful, poignant song about two friends saying goodbye, and is my favourite from the musical (except for, possibly, the astounding Defying Gravity).
I thought that this song would fit for the Doctor and Rose's friendship because they've both changed through the times they've had together, for good. Rose is stronger, more grown up and so much wiser. The Doctor has changed his face to save her life, changed his ideas and beliefs and how he talks...and they both found love.
I tried to paint a picture of their irreplaceable friendship in making this vid, and I hope I did it well :)
N.B. Rose sings Glinda's lines and the Doctor sings Elphaba's lines.

Pam and Jo Lee Sing FOR GOOD Grant, the professional leg model, and his friend Pam, the professional piano player, record this (More) Grant, the professional leg model, and his friend Pam, the professional piano player, record this rehearsal track of a portion of the song, "For Good" from the Broadway Musical 'Wicked.' This song will be featured on Pam's new CD due out later this year. You won't want to miss this amazing recording experience that's sure to top the charts within the first three weeks of its release. Grant's camera work, mixed with Pam's slapstick antics at the keyboard are made perfect only by Jo Lee's attempt at finding the right notes in this difficult Sondheim hit musical number. Look carefully and you'll be able to get a quick glimpse of Grant's award-winning chorus line kicks made famous in his most recent musical theatre cross-dressing drag queen Senior Center performance of Auntie Mame. He was named Cameraman of the Year by Maxim's editorial staff for his feature expose story on "Flippy the homeless dolphin" and recently won a contract with Adiddas based on his flashy footwear wardrobe alone. You may recognize Grant's name from the train station in New York City "Grant Central Station" and it was Grant's second job after the war, working with reknowned thread weaver Dirk Winterstrom that brought him the most reknown. He was immediately tossed into fame and fortune when he came up with the thread color "Midnight Noir" that was used on Diana Ross's comeback dress for the Fourth Annual NCAACP Special Olympics half-time show when she sang, "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" and the famous wardrobe malfunction was officially blamed on the threadmaker's Chinese imported lead-based paint that disintegrated from Ms. Ross's corrosive sweat glands and prolific sweatting that caused her hemline to split, her heel to catch in it, and her false leg to show on national television. For those of you who do not recognize Grant's name from that international incedent, then Buggers to you. Pam, on the other hand, is going to be recognized soon by National Society for the Advancement of Comical Pamelas for her work with underpriveledged unfunny Pamelas who needed comical timing help. She's been recognized for her work with funny faces, slapstick, and early wisecracking. It's rumored she came up with the comic classic, "To the Moon Malice" and "One of these days, POW, right in the Kiss Me!" Wow, she's good. OH, and she sings too, as evidenced by this video. You should watch now, and stop reading the lengthy and none-too-interesting Description. If it weren't required, I wouldn't have filled it in at all. It's just so wrong. Is it too much to ask? I mean, who doens't want a membership in the hunting club, a career as a cavewoman, and a voice in the village counceling society with the Soloman cut-the-baby-in-half club spa and diner? At least consider a new day with the next Advanced civilization parking lot mammoth's society where portals and Star Trek mix with T-Rex fashions and stream of consciousness brain management work. Like the great Fazoo. Let's face it. Stop with doggie humiliation and let them squat in that ungraceful pose in peace without staring at them, pointing and laughing. Now, please, stop reading this and just listen to the video. There's nothing here that Jack Sparrow and an old window air-conditioner couldn't find attractive at some point in their lives of couch-potatoesque day dreaming, even after midnight, which would make it night dreaming, when dreaming is totally appropriate. Speaking of all the same (unity) and (unifying) and (being the same) (especially parenthetically). We all usually have the same tastes and the same bands after all, right? They all play music, have notes, followed by lyrics, more notes, music, and an ending. That's what makes us all brothers just as much as the next lady. And who is that lady next to us? Did we even bother to ask? Because if that cat reads our book one more time on the plane over our shoulder, I think we all agree that we can just get ourselves a screened in porch with a lanai and a pool that has way too much chlorine in it and makes our hair yellow right after we have spent $125 getting it dyed blonde. But that's water over the bridge. If there's nothing on page 23, then it means that Chapter 2 doesn't exist on the event horizon that IS evolutionary discipline. I said, stop reading. Can you please just listen to the song and leave this whole description alone? Okay, I'm finished. I'm due in court. (Less)
