Christina Aguilera Back to Basics Live! Compilation Summarizing Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics concert (This was when she's 3 mths (More) Summarizing Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics concert (This was when she's 3 mths pregnant) in 4 mins. With what I took personally, and a little guide you through, all set to El Beso del Final.
Hopefully this gives you a little feel of being "There" at the concert. To slate (or fuel) the curiosity of those who have yet to experience her concert. And, I really hope also, to rekindle wonderful memories for those who had experience this amazing show.
By the way, youtube really crap my vid's quality. My photos are way better then that. Whoever wants the full quality video please inform me, I only too glad to share.
Very glad to have the opportunity to watch her perform live. Though I already spent a bomb and still sit 150km away from her. Thanks to my powerful camera, I still captured photos I know I'm gonna cherish forever. Here I compile them to Christina Aguilera's beautiful song, El Beso del Final. No specific significance, just love the song. (I know the lyrics are so sad but, it's Beautiful) Together with a little review and commentary.
She was 3 months pregnant, but it was still a rumor then. Now that its confirmed......well, its just random juicy information for die hard fans to chew on. So you can watch this vid and go "Oh,so thats what she's like pregnant". Also, this is her second last performance before she collapsed onstage, subsequently canceling many performances.
There are not many signs; she still dances so hard, everyone forgets what they heard outside the stadium. We were just, There, in front of her. Glued to her every move and of course, simply absorbed by her power pipes.
But when she got to her 5/6th song, there was a moment where she got everyone really worried. She was pale and a little shaky on her legs, yet she continued her VERY vigorous dancing. I remember hearing worried remarks passing around in the audience. When the song finally ended, Christina visibly collapses into a kowtow position. On her knees with head bowed. The audience gasps and murmured. For a long moment it looked as if she fainted. But after a long, long minute, she raised her head and giggled her cute giggle to us. She stayed in her kneeling position for THREE full minutes to receive rounds and rounds of cheers from the proud audience. We knew she needed time to recover, and we are quite happy to provide it, along with encouragement and our long withheld appreciation. It was an intense moment.
Still, we were relieved when she moved on to a quieter number.
Other prominent moments include her playfully wiping her brows with a Christina Aguilera T-shirt, and then toss it teasingly to the audience. I don't have to tell you what happened next. They were a.n.i.m.a.l.s.
Also, at the end of the concert, just before she exited. She stood for 5 minutes receiving roars and roars of cheers from the fans. It was all comfortable and much needed relieve for the fans. Until she did two deep kowtows to the audience. The Singaporean audience, unused to such a respectfully gesture from a performer (such a respected performer, nevertheless) momentarily stunned. But she gleefully exited, leaving the fans gaping. Trying to digest, not only what just happened, but also the magnitude of the show they just witnessed.
I believe the Emmy audience was left gaping by Christina too! She did such a different "thing" then what she usually does, and my, what a performance! It was GROUNDBREAKING. My theory is that her voice gets bigger along with her tummy. :) She was good in Singapore, but she was 10 times better in the Emmys.
She does always seem to out do herself doesn't she? But that's why we all Love and will always Love her.
Go Christina!!!
