HERE ARE SOME VERY EXCLUSIVE INFORMATIONS OF THE MOVIE:
As the name says, it's about the legendary Giratina, the Pokémon which lives in a peaceful hidden space, that is parallel to our reality. This marvellous place is named as "Hanten Sekai" (jap. 反転世界, translated: inverse world).
Then Palkia and Dialga appear and they're batteling inside the space-time-dimension, which exists in another hidden place.
Those two Pokémon, Palkia and Dialga, start a hard battle inside their dimension, which triggers a space-time disturbance, which also influences the Hanten Sekai.
Then Dialga and Palkia get out of their dimension and they continue their battle in the town, where Ash, Dawn and Brock are too.
Suddenly a dark power spreads over the Hanten Sekai, and this power could destroy that marvellous and peaceful place.
This power is caused of the battle of Dialga and Palkia. Of course, Giratina wants to prevent that its environment gets destroyed and leaves its dimension as well to look for the Pokémon that causes this disturbance. As it sees Dialga battling with Palkia, it transferes Dialga into the Hanten Sekai. There Giratina wants to destroy Dialga because it was causing this space-time-disturbance which nearly destroyed Giratina's biosphere.
But those two Pokémon aren't the only Pokémon that live in the Hanten Sekai. Also other Pokémon live there, one of them is Shaymin. While Giratina and Dialga have a destroying battle, Shaymin gets hurt and it's just quick enough to flee into another dimension, the dimension of the "real" Pokémon world, our dimension.
There it is found by Ash and his friends.
After they find it they want to bring the hurt and totally exhausted Shaymin to the nearest Pokémon Center. Shaymin tells them with telepathy about a wonderful place with a field full of flowers, called "Gurashidea".
But suddenly, Team Rocket appears and they want to steal Shaymin.
But then, exactly in the moment Team Rocket appears, Ash, Dawn, Brock, Shaymin and Team Rocket get transfered into the Hanten Sekai by strange whirpools.
There, they wonder what has happened to them and they ask themselves where they are. They walk around in the Hanten Sekai to discover the marvellous, but also strange environment.
Suddenly, dark clouds spread over the sky and the legendary Giratina appears. It wants to chase away Ash and his friends. Ash wants to battle with Giratina but then he hears a voice which tells Ash not to battle again Giratina. The voice is from Mugen, who is exploring the Hanten Sekai.
He wants to warn Ash that he shouldn't irritate Giratina, because otherwise Giratina would get even angrier.
With Mugen's help they come back into the real dimension, but on the way there they lose Shaymin.
While Mugen and Ash and his friends look for Shaymin and the place which it was telling them, Zero starts to chase and to capture the Giratina with his Hightech-airship, because he wants to use Giratina's force to realize his "project"...

He is a mysterious teenager, who wants to use Giratina's forces to get the leader of the world. He owns a hightech-ship called "Megariba".

She is controlled by Zero and not a real human. She does everything what Zero wants her to do and she is the controller of his ship.
Mugen (ムゲン), spoken by Kōichi Yamadera:
He is exploring the Hanten Sekai.
Leila, spoken by Akina Minami:
There's nothing known about her part in the movie.
