Facilitated Socialization of Previously Singly Caged Adult Macaques - Wisconsin Primate Vivisection pt. 1 This video, titled "Facilitated Socialization of Previously Singly Caged Adult Macaques," (More) This video, titled "Facilitated Socialization of Previously Singly Caged Adult Macaques," was produced by Viktor Reinhardt and Robert Dodsworth at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center in May of 1989. Its intent was to show other researchers how the lives of primates could be improved in labs if they were socialized with other monkeys. That says an awful lot about the misery 100,000 primates endure in the U.S. in laboratories. Many primates still languish entirely alone in cages and suffer from severe depression due to their isolation. Please, do all you can to get active and fight for the rights of animals. (Less)
