Now, just for the record, I never told Lora to ask Brain to ask Karen if there's something going on between you guys. It's childish and I don't do stuff like that. If I would have wanted to know if there's something between you and Karen, I would talk to you directly! I mean, why wouldn't I? We're friends, we can talk to each other, right? The thing is I did tell Lora that I think you're cute n' then she did what she did n' now you probably think that I like you, damaging your ego more than It's already is. And it's all could have been just fine and cool with me if only it wasn't true... That is why I feel awkward. You know what I mean? And in the same time I feel awkward not talking about it when we both know... Mrs. Jonas pulled into the driveway, and with the first glance at the house, memories flooded through my head. When Joe had locked me in this very car. The time they made me eat dog food. How Nick would try to push me into the pool every time I came over. When they gave me a boy's haircut. How they would lock me in the bathroom. They had made my childhood a nightmare. I had forgotten how much I really despised those boys.
Denise had said something and was waiting for a response. "Sorry?" I asked. "Are you ready for this?" She asked. That song came into head 'SHOUT OUT, ARE YOU READY FOR THIS'. "Uh, ya." I gulped. In my head I was yelling, NOT AT ALL, and I could tell Mrs. Jonas knew what was running through my mind. "Come on, Annie, it won't be that bad." She laughed, getting out of the car. Yeah, and I'm Edward Cullen.
I got out of the passenger's seat and headed towards the back of the car. "Mary Ann," Denise said coming up behind me "The boys will get your luggage." "WHAT!" I said sharper then I intended. "Boys!?" I whipped my head around to find Denise staring at me as if I was crazy. I felt my eyes slowly bulge out of my head. "Annie!" Denise said alarmed "Are you okay!?" "Boys!!?" I repeated, frozen on the spot, looking like a crazy person. "Annie honey! I have four sons! Don't you remember!?!" "Aren't they" *deep breath* "on tour!!!?" I demanded, beginning to hyperventilate. Mrs. Jonas shook her head no, looking at me, worry etched deep in her face.
I was going to kill Jillian. Yes, a slow, painful, painful death. I would get Jess to help. We would use the Cruciatus curse on her. We'd torture her to her death. I began to laugh uncontrollably like a mad scientist.
Then I heard it. A guy's voice. Then the car, Mrs. Jonas, the house and everything around me started to spin, and before I knew it, I was falling, I was for sure going to hit the ground, hard.
Next thing I knew I was laying on the cold concrete, my head in someone's lap. I looked up. Ahhh! It was a guy! Breathe! Breathe! It'll be okay! The person was looking at me, eyes full of concern. I jumped up, to the protest of my head and looked around. Four faces were staring at me.
"What?" I mumbled, not aware of what was going on. "Annie, honey, your starting to scare me! The boys came out to greet you and to get your luggage and you started trembling, and then you fell. Luckily Kevin," She said motioning to the guy whose lap I had been in, "caught you before your head hit the concrete."
Kevin!? KEVIN Kevin, as in Kevin who used to purposely push me to the ground, Kevin? No way.
"Yeah, that was quite a fall." Kevin smiled. And what a nice smile it was.
I couldn't bring myself to form words, so I stood there, my cheeks on fire, looking extremely stupid.
"You sure you're okay?" who must have been Joe asked.
This was too much for me too handle. Why were the jerks being nice? Why were they here!? Why were they talking to me? I needed Jillian. I lost my balance and fell sideways and great, fell on Joe.
"I'll take that as a no..." Joe said from underneath me. I was on him facing towards him. Wow, he had pretty eyes.
I jumped up from on top of him. I was so embarrassed. And confused.
That's when I heard it. Insane laughter. I turned my head around to see—that could only be Nick. To see Nick rolling around in the house, pounding the floor with his fist, the other hand pointing at me, laughing like he'd just witnessed the funniest thing ever.
"Nick! Stop it!" Everyone yelled, appalled, making him only laugh harder.
Now this was too mush to handle. THEY WE'RE"NT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!! This can not be happening! I couldn't take it anymore. He was laughing at me. I turned around and started running down the street. I had to get out. They were calling my name, Everyone, I guessed, except Nick. He was probably dying of laughter. Hopefully just dying...
Once I made it down the long street, I stopped. A few seconds after I did, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. I screamed and turned around.
