(Rebecca's POV)
And that was it. We. Were. Stuck.
"This is bad. This is really bad." I started breathing harder and I put my face in my hands. "Whyd this have to happen?" I felt the tears well up. Was the room getting smaller? The walls were closing in. I was gonna suffocate. Oh no. I had completely forgotten about Kevin until he spoke up.
"Rebecca? Are you okay?" he asked. My breathing quickened even more. I dropped to my knees and a tear fell. Kevin's voice was right next to me. "Rebecca? What's wrong?" He gently touched my arm and I turned to look straight into his eyes.
Out of nowhere, I wrapped my arms around Kevin's neck and hugged him tight. I started crying, not caring if I looked utterly pathetic. I felt him lightly hug back, probably confused about my sudden breakdown. I let go and gently pushed his arms away.
"Rebecca, tell me what's wrong," he demanded. I could hear the worry in his voice. I looked down and tried to tell him. "I'm... I'm..." "You're what?" he asked, grabbing my shoulders. "I'm claustrophobic," I whispered. Kevin looked at me with shock written all over his face. At this point, I felt bad for him. He was stuck in an elevator with a freak who just happens to be claustrophobic. Any hope of him liking me was gone.
(Kevin's POV)
SHE'S CLAUSTROPHOBIC?! This is not good. Not good at all. I don't know how that works but I DO know that being trapped in an elevator can only make it worse. Especially for a long time. I really wanted to help her, but what could I do? Then, and idea came to me.
(Rebecca's POV)
I was so embarrassed right now. I was shaking, crying, and breathing REALLY hard. It probably looked like I was giving birth or something. I heard Kevin softly ask, "Rebecca, what's your favorite color?" WHAT?! "Huh?" "What's your favorite color?" he asked again.
What was the point in asking me this? I decided to answer anyways. "Red and black," I said shakily. "Oh. Mine's blue," he said. I simply nodded. After that, he asked simple questions: Where was I from? What music did I like? Stuff like that.
I didn't realize what he was doing until my breathing had returned to normal. Kevin's small talk had saved me from going insane. When he noticed how calm I was, he started asking bigger questions, ones that required that I talk more. He kept doing that until we were laughing and having real conversations.
I was so thankful for Kevin. Without him, I would have had a serious meltdown. I really liked him. He was funny, sweet, caring, smart, and very cute. I was having the best time until the intercom clicked and the voice came through again.
"We have some bad news. Maintenance won't be able to come today. They'll be here first thing tomorrow. Im sorry but you're going to have to spend the night in there. Terribly sorry." I was in total shock. I had to spend the night IN HERE?!
"WHAT?!" I stood up and immediately felt dizzy. The walls closed in and everything went black.
(Kevin's POV)
After hearing that we were stuck for the night, Rebecca stood up but as soon as she did, she passed out. I had quickly gotten up after she did and I caught her just in time. I carefully sat back down, cradling Rebecca in my arms. I removed my right hand from under her legs and lifted it up to her face.
My hand was hovering over her and I was arguing about whether I should touch her or not. Next thing I knew, I felt her warm cheek against the palm of my hand. I started to caress her cheek with my thumb and as I did, I smiled. How lucky was I that I got to spend the night with such a beautiful girl alone in an elevator?
Well, the elevator... not so much. But Rebecca definitely sweetened the deal. I was still just staring at her. Part of me wanted her to wake up so we could talk. The other part said that this moment was too perfect to disturb. I leaned down and kissed her forehead. Then, I realized how naïve I was being.
This amazing, almost-perfect girl was not going to like me back. The popular guys would see her, hit on her, and ask her out constantly. Rebecca would probably give in and leave me behind. So what was the point of all this?

Is Kevin having some self-esteem issues? I think so. Will Rebecca wake up? How will the night go? Five comments for the next one! Begging won't work ilybubbles101! Haha. Love ya! (Less)
Lamb Of God - Everything To Nothing (Drums Only) DRUMS ONLY...No Guitar, Bass, or Vocals. I got this from the Wrath Studio Experience CD that came (More) DRUMS ONLY...No Guitar, Bass, or Vocals. I got this from the Wrath Studio Experience CD that came with the CD Wrath that just came out today! I just wanted to put the drum tracks on here because chris adler is a fucking amazing drummer
Wrath is the fifth studio album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God. It was released on February 24, 2009.
Background and production
In August, 2008, it was announced that the band had commenced work on the follow-up to Sacrament, and that it was expected to be released on February 24, 2009. Josh Wilbur was confirmed as the producer for the album. Wilbur takes the place of the band's previous producer, Machine, who worked with them on Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament.
The recording process of Wrath was made available for online viewing through the band's website, with two webcams installed in the studio (specifically in the drum room and mixing room).
Music and album direction
Speaking about the new record, drummer Chris Adler stated: "This album is going to surprise a lot of people. Typically bands that get to where we are in our career begin to slack off, smell the roses and regurgitate. We chose a different path. No one wants to hear another band member hyping a new record. Wrath needs no hype. We have topped ourselves and on February 24 you will feel it." "We are excited to be changing things up this time and working with Josh. We've never stayed in one place too long, and the Band's evolution continues. There is an aggressive shift in the material and our approach. The bar has been raised." [3]
Guitarist Mark Morton was also quoted in a recent interview stating: "We usually try to do something fresh every time. This one, I think, is deliberately a little more raw and more aggressive than 'Sacrament' was. 'Sacrament' was a really, really dynamic record on every level, and the songs were all over the place — it was also heavily produced. This one's really raw and real-sounding, from every angle, and we're celebrating imperfections on this record. We're choosing what takes stay on the record based more on their character and personality than how completely mechanically precise they are. It's more about vibe and attitude in the takes than it is about, 'Wow, that was perfect.' It's the perfect ones that get thrown away, because they're just too sterile." "The guitar tones are a little cleaner than normal," he added. "We're kind of getting into this mind-set that clean is heavy. Clarity is a lot heavier than oversaturated. It's just real raw and natural and organic-sounding, which, in itself, is kind of revolutionary these days, when kids are making pro audio-sounding recordings in their dorm rooms, on their laptops, and cutting and pasting verses and choruses. It's no longer cutting edge to make a completely space-aged, robotic-sounding record. I think it's almost fresh now to make one that sounds like an actual band played it. Don't get me wrong — it still sounds airtight and rehearsed, because it is all those things. But it's just real."
