It has come to our attention we here at Twilight Vinculum, the deadline for the Unofficial Movie Poster and Movie Trailer has come and gone. Once again life has gotten in the way (work, life, and movie set visits). So the deadline has now been extended until Friday May 2nd. Here's a refresher on the rules if anyone needs them:
Poster Rules
1. All entries can be a maximum size of 1.5 MB.
2. Dimensions should be no smaller than a width of : 300px or height of : 400px
3. All cast (character) images must be of the official cast.
4. If plagiarism is caught the contestant will be disqualified.
5. All contest entries are to be in by May 2nd, 3AM Eastern Time.
Suggestions from Twilight Vinculum --
Try to go outside the box with your design. Don't make it plain. Play with all your resources.
Remember that there are all kinds of poster designs and that no one is forcing you into a particular style.
Trailer Rules
1. Actors and Actresses used in the videos must be part of the official cast if they have been announced.
2. The trailer must be a combination of clips and music. If still images are used it can only be for actor introduction. EX. At the beginning or end of a movie trailer when they are announcing actors in the upcoming film.
3. The length of the video should be a minimum of 2:00 minutes and a maximum of 5:00 minutes.
4. If plagiarism is caught the contestant will be disqualified.
5. All contest entries are to be in by May 2nd, 3AM Eastern Time.
Suggestions from Twilight Vinculum --
Don't aim for a teaser length video. We're looking for trailers because the longer length tests your creativity to use limited video sources to make something mind blowing.
Don't get stuck on one movie or clip for a character/actor. Chances are they have been in other things that you don't know of. Ex. Robert Pattison has portrayed roles other than Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter and Kristen Stewart has acted in more films than the Messengers.
Specifically A Tip From Bella Morte: This last quarter I took a film class and discovered a few assumed but often forgotten editing tricks. Fast paced music tends to work with action sequences best; when cutting your clips remember that by using short fast changes you build suspense and adrenaline; lastly don't let anyone else's criticism hold you back from making your vision.

If it is an image it can be sent directly to us or please send a valid link. If the link is invalid we will email you within 48 hours telling you so.
Videos should be uploaded on a storage database for us to download from or on your own youtube already. Examples of storage databases are megaload, mediafire, and sendfile.
The posters and trailers will be put up for fan vote Saturday, May 10th. The winning entries will placed on the Twilight Vinculum Youtube Channel, MySpace and Facebook pages. Good Luck and Have Fun!!!!! (Less)
