Olivia held onto Kati so tight Kati couldn't feel her arm , but that didn't matter. Olivia:Daddy!*she cried out as she was worried* Dad: Come here Sweetie! *he held his arms out and hugged her tight as she started to burst out in tears and start to yell and everything* Olivia: What room is she in?!!*her patience grew short* WHERE IS SHE?!*scared her mother had already passed* Dad: Room 314..... *Olivia rushed to the 3rd floor as fast as she could , taking the stairs.Kati followed as well.* Olivia reached the room her mother lay in. Olivia:Mom!*she rushed to the bed and hugged her mom ever so tightly* OM(Olivia's Mom):Cookie....Come here...*she said weakly*Don't cry- Olivia: How can I not cry mom?*she said seriously not trying to yell in her mothers last moments* OM: I'm going to a good place sweetheart, that's why...*she gave a full hearted smile* Olivia: I just wish- OM:No , no sweetheart. Don't regret anything you did or said to me.Most importantly don't blame this on yourself, I don't ever want the tought to even cross your mind. Olivia: I know , it's just ... what am I going to do without you?*her eyes began to swell and started to cry. Kati was behind stroking her hand on Olivia's back slowly for comfort.* OM:Listen , before I go...I wanted to give you this.......*she reached over to table next to the bed and grabbed a beautiful necklace with a sapphire stone in the middle and handed it to Olivia , which she didn't even look at it * On your 18th birthday *she paused and waited for Olivia to nod* you are to go into my room and in my bookcase on the 3rd shelf their is a tiny book called Gifts, you are to take it , in the back there is a page # open to it and do as it says..............please for me....*her voice began to weaken and her eyes began to close* Olivia: I love you mommy! Don't leave me! Please don't! OM: I love you sweetie....*her father just came in* OM: I Love You too! *she gave a heartfelt smile* OF(Olivia's father): Always and forever........I Love you *Just then the beeping sound of the heart monitor stopped.* Olivia:*she started bursting into tears* No!!! Mom!!!! Why? WHY?!!! *she leaned into her father and held her other arm out for Kati , who was also crying* Kati: We're gonna be fine .......... We're gonna make it.......* a huge lump in her throat formed* She's in a better place and she love's you very much! *she started to cry along with Olivia* *Olivia went on the bed where her mother lay and laid there too hugging her mother. At this point she was crying really loud and the whole hospital could hear her crying* OF: C'mon sweetie....let her be *he tried to gently grab her hand and take her off the bed. Olivia started to squirm to stay on the bed with her lost mother.* Olivia: NO!!! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!*her eyes were red and swollen from crying . Kati tried to influence her to let go but she wouldn't buge. Soon enough the doctors had to come in and carry out of the room!* Olivia: YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!! *She said as she was being carried over the doctors shoulder and started to hit him in the back* Kati: Olivia ..... STOP!*the doctor set her down on the chair in the ER waiting room.* Olivia...I'm really sorry *her eyes were red and swollen from crying aswell* 2 weeks later....... Olivia laid in bed , motionless as her cell phone rang. Ricky(Olivia's Boyfriend): Hey Babe! Happy 18th Birthday! Olivia : *she had forgotten it was , so she went to the calendar to find all the other days of the month crossed out, except the date of her birth day.* Thank's Babe. Ricky: So I was thinking *she bit her lip as those words started to come out* if I could stop by for your birthday and I wanna talk and stuff! Olivia: Aw, thanks! *she had remembered she was going to spend the day with Kati* I totally forgot I was going to hang with Kati today! Ricky: Kati?.....From High School? Olivia: Yea! R: What are you doing hanging out with that loser?!! *he said in a mean and demanding tone* O: She's my bestest friend and the best anyone could ever ask for! Don't you dare talk to me like that! How could you judge your own gf for who she hangs out with?!! R: It's not you to be hanging with her! O: You know what Rick?! I'm sick and tired of all this crap you always give me! Your always pressuring me to doing things that I shouldn't even be doing!! R: I thought you wanted to be doing those things *he said in a smart-alek tone* O: Don't you even go there! You know what?! Don't even bother coming here today cuz we're through!*she hung up the phone , got dressed and raced to Kati's house* Will Olivia do her mothers death wish?!
