This family were hired by the Chexi Scenic Area of the Three Gorge Region. They sung songs for above 1 million tourists in this beautiful place inhabited by Tujia people. So they are also known as the Song King of the Three Gorge Region. Peasant Brothers sung ethnic Tujia folk songs in their performance. A typical Tujia folk song contains five sentences with each sentence containing seven characters. There are about 30 kinds of musical patterns in Tujia folk songs including "Four-Sound", "Five-Sound", "South Tune", "Picking Tea Tune". Aimin Wang has learned nearly 300 Tujia folk songs from his father. He said he would write them down in the future. There were four rounds in the final stage of the National Youth Singing Contest. Peasant Brothers entered the fourth round. However, they were very unlucky to be competed out in the fourth round - although they were so close to a medal.
