Super Mario World Hack: Brutal Mario Bosses: Part 2 Two Koopa Kids have been sent back to the dungeon (somewhat relating to the SMB3 show), a couple of (More) Two Koopa Kids have been sent back to the dungeon (somewhat relating to the SMB3 show), a couple of new faces have met their match, and a couple of bosses reappear just about as fast as they disappear again under Mario's skills, despite new traps. There were some interesting scenarios in the bosses that appear from the 3rd castle to the 4th. And after viewing this video, you'll be equipped with so much info that you might just surprise the bosses themselves. :)
Again, if I missed any bosses, PM me the level location ONLY. I'll be able to find them on my own. Also, I'm taking other requests on this hack, including levels.
3-Castle: Xan Bie (don't know where this boss is from, though it sounds Japanese) is very tough for new players, since the fire attacks, despite they're programmed to aim straight at you, are unpredictable. I can't really give a strategy here, though try to get as much room as possible. You can only damage the boss when it's blue. Jump on the topmost part of the head (jumping on the beak for some reason deals damage to you) when Xan is above the pool of water. Do this three times and Xan will sleep an eternal slumber in the pool.
Wendy is much easier than Xan, though can still surprise you. She'll try to attack you directly, jump on her to force her to retreat. The other phase of the battle is spent dodging Wendy's hearts. You can pretty much know what to do by studying the patterns in this video. Hit her four times to finish her.
4-House: Once again, the level is harder than the boss itself. At first, you don't have enough weapons to finish Big Boo. But if you can manage to hit the On/Off switch down the pipe in the previous room, a Koopa Shell will be the needed third weapon to beat Big Boo. If you somehow destroy one of the weapons before you can hit Big Boo with it, just reset the battle by going in the door.
4-Fortress: This looks like an ordinary battle with Boom Boom, but this fortress is under a "curse". The left and right buttons have switched, so pushing right makes Mario go left, and vice versa. Up and down are unaffected, though. Boom Boom isn't any harder than last time, but the switch actually makes this a little challenging. See my previous video for the strategy for Boom Boom.
4-Castle. Squawk (is that the bird's name from DKC2?) for some reason betrays you (can't read Japanese :( ) and starts attacking. This is more an annoying enemy than a boss, since a bonk on the head is all it needs. The attacks are pretty swift, though, so it's a little tough. Keep running when he starts tossing stones at you, then jump as soon as he charges at you.
Iggy is probably the first boss (besides Big Boo) to require a different attack to deal damage. Spin-jumping on him makes him teleport (he acts a lot like an upgraded Magikoopa). To damage Iggy, get him to fire towards the ceiling at one of the blocks. If it contains a Koopa, grab the shell and kick it at Iggy. If it's a successful hit, Iggy casts a flying Podoboo. Hit Iggy once more after two Podoboos are flying to finish him. (Less)
