The 30 year old kid who owned this thing was a fucking retard. it was his dads, who gave it to him. then he lowered it (fucking asshole) put the rear back on crooked, took out the passenger seat, glued black satin type material all over the interior shit. sprayed undercoating on shit in the cab, like the seat belts,and dashboard stuff. put a stupid ass steering wheel on it, (he took it off, so we had to steer with pliers)
for about 2 years, we've seen this truck, the garage doors collapsed on it long ago, we finally stopped and asked the dad about it. he was happy, he said if we'd come and haul it out, we could "have the damn thing!"
6 days later we came back, borrowed a truck, tow dolly, brought a new battery, starting fluid, tools, a come-along, and airpump. we got there, then his son who lives there came out and flipped out about it, saying that it was his truck, and he put all sorts of money in it and work. and was going to try to take the rims and tires off of it, cause they are stupid crager rims that are absolutely retarded looking, and he bought and paid for them. so he wanted the fuckers. he also wanted the lowering blocks, the shocks, the seat cover which was cheap material bought from pep boys or something, then clipped on the seat with weird metal clips. he wanted the alarm system back that he put in it, (that his dad said never worked to begin with) and he kept coming out and saying shit and flipping out, but never actually doing anything. and me and drew just kept working on getting the thing ready to go. filling up the tires, finding out that drews other toyota key works in that ignition. in the end we had to promise that we would bring the stupid rims back, and we will. who the fuck wants them anyway. i have some stock toyota rims that we're going to put on there. but we couldn't get it started at the guys house. and to me it sounded like my toyota did when the timing chain jumped some teeth. so i thought the thing was fucked. but then i replaced all the brand new looking platinum sparkplugs, and the newer looking wires, and the new looking cap and rotor with all the stuff from my 81 toyota 4wd crawler (the one that broke in half) the spark plugs from that thing were all melted looking where it sparks at least a HEAVY 1/16th melted off on an angle on each one, but the thing always ran on those just fine. so i popped that all on, and filled it back up with all the fuses that were missing. starting fluid, fired right up. put a tractor gas can to bypass the 10 year old gas in the main tank. the thing runs like a son of a bitch. oil caked inside of the radiator, it runs awesome, got coolant for it, has heat, cools the engine, has VICIOUS power! rocks all around. dosn't charge though. no cat or muffler, or tailpipe. its LOUD as shit! very crazy. drew was driving that thing like a madman. this thing had sat for 10+ years in that garage. fucking free!
