Whats all the excitement over here about? Nick asked as everyone else walked over to us.
You got him the guitar? Kevin asked shocked. Then this morning you werent looking for yourself?
Nope, I said smiling. But I do want to learn, that wasnt a lie.
Joe used the guitar that night at the show and personally I thought he sounded better than ever. Towards the end of the concert Sara got a phone call and smiled and went off to the side to talk to whoever was calling. When she came back she was fighting back tears. Just then the show had finished and the guys were running off the stage.
Whats wrong? we all asked.
I think we should handle this, Sam and I said knowing this was something Sara didnt want to tell everyone at once and pulled her off to the side so we could talk.
Joes P.O.V.
Nick and I were the last ones to get up and they were all sitting waiting for us to get ready so that we could leave.
Amanda just texted me. They said to get them whenever were ready, Nick said.
Why dont you go over now? Sara teased Nick.
Like this? Are you kidding? I just got up! Nick replied knowing that Sara was joking.
Yeah, you want to impress your new girlfriend, Sara laughed. Yup they basically acted like brother and sister.
Shes not my girlfriend, Nick said, if it was anyone except Sara he probably would have been mad. He definitely would have been mad at Kevin and me, but thats because were his brothers and its our job to tease him, but since it was Sara he wasnt upset.
Yet, Sara replied as we all finished getting ready and walked over to the other bus.
We heading over to the Eiffel Tower? I asked,
You know it, Sam said as the eight of us walked to the most famous site in Paris.
Most romantic city. It would be better at night though, Kevin said.
You would say that, Mr. Romantic, Sam said laughing.
But you love it I know it, Kevin replied.
Of course, Sam said giving Kevin a hug.
After we went to the top of the tower and enjoyed the view it was unfortunately time to head over to the venue to do a bit of rehearsing and warm-up for the show. The girls decided to go get some food while we were busy. I dont know why they couldnt have eaten the free food we had here, but whatever.
You guys should order some escargot, Namra yelled as they left.
Yeah, ok, I replied sarcastically as we went back to rehearsing.
When we had our break I saw Devon sitting separate from the rest of the group, which I thought was a little odd, but I went over to see her to see what was up. As I walked closer I saw what looked like a guitar case next to her. I had no clue why she had it. I was wondering if it was one of ours that she had for some reason, but as I got closer I realized that we didnt have a case like that. Now I was really confused.
Is that a guitar? I asked her extremely curious. She just looked at me smiling and told me to open it.
Oh My God! Are you serious? I asked as I stared down at the guitar. It wasnt just any guitar, it was the guitar I had wanted for a while, but it was pretty expensive so I never got it. Thats when it hit me, Devon just bought me a super expensive guitar for no reason except to surprise me, I was shocked.
You know youre amazing right? I told her smiling. I was still surprised that she would do this for me and it made me love her even more.
I try, she replied smiling and laughing. I could see that my excitement about her gift was exactly what she wanted. I picked her up in a giant hug and kissed her when everyone else came over to see what was going on.
Apparently Devon had talked to Kevin this morning about buying a guitar because she wanted to learn so could find out some info about guitars. She said she did want to learn so maybe I will teach her at some point, it should be fun.
Im so using this tonight during the show, I said and I did. I totally loved it, it was perfect.
The show was perfect. I was so excited when I finally got to use my guitar for the first time on stage. It was so easy to play, I had definitely made the right choice, with the guitar and Devon.
