Dear Brothers and Sisters, Friends and Elders,
Peace be unto all of you & God's Mercy and His Blessings.
We say:
"Oh! God, You are our Lord; there is none worthy of worship or loyalty except you.
- You created all of us & we are Your servants.
- We are trying to fulfill our promises & pledges to you to the best of our abilities.
- We seek refuge in you from the evil that we might have done & the bad whisperings of Satan.
- We recognize, accept & glorify YOUR bounties that YOU have bestowed upon us.
We accept and admit our sins; so forgive us & nobody else can forgive sins except YOU.
- We thankyou for the family you have given us, the roof over our heads, the money in the wallet & the gas in our cars- GOD, we do not want to take anything you have given us for granted; Like how you have blessed us in this world, please continue to bless us on the day of judgement and the world hereafter too !
- We thankyou for our limbs and the sense of balance.
- We thankyou for our brains and the intelligence.
- We thankyou for this double-engine, heart pump that doesn't need maintenance.
- We thankyou for these 2 oxygenators, bellows & air-filters that we call lungs.
- We thankyou for these 2 filters called kidneys that remove all poisons from our bodies.
Verse of the Throne: -
"God, there is none worthy of worship but HIM, the Ever-Living, the Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes HIM. To Him belongs whatever is in the Heavens and the Earth; Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His own permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them. They encompass nothing of His knowledge except for that which He wills.
His Foot-stool extends over the Heavens and the Earth and their preservation tires Him not. And, HE is the Most High, the Most Great!"
With these guidelines in mind, Oh! God, enable us to resist all kinds of crime, murder, rape, oppression, inequality & War.
Oh! God, enable us to be like a doctor -- who hates the disease, but not the patient. So, that we can hate the wrong things, but NOT the people who are wrong-doers.
Oh! God, enable us to end racism, poverty, misogynistic oppression of women, global economic inequality and all other form of injustice.
Enable us to have compassion for the people without a roof over their heads.
Enable us to have love and affection for the people who are forced to be hungry and to fast, not by choice but by compulsion, due to poverty, handicaps, sickness and unemployment.
Oh! God, enable us to standup for our constituents, for Grass-Roots democracy, for social justice, for ecological wisdom and to prevent environmental degradation.
Enable us to stand up for non-violence, for decentralization of power, for community-based economics, for equality of women. Enable us to celebrate diversity and pluralism and to focus on the future investment -- Our Youth and our children !
Oh! God, help us in establishing your remembrance, being thankful and grateful to You and excelling in worship of You!
Oh! God, Save us from the punishment of the grave, the trials of the Resurrection, the law-suits of the Day of Requital and Acquittal and the trials of the Hell-fire.
Save us from the difficulties of this life and death.
Save us from the tribulations of the Anti-Christ.
Oh! Kind and Loving, Merciful, Gracious God, You Love pardoning your weak creatures, We are weak; Please Pardon us!
Oh! God, bless this beautiful loving city of Olympia and the people of the State of Washington, the beautiful people of the United States of American and ALL the people around the world who are citizens of Planet Earth !
Oh! God, Enable us to feel refreshed and energized and to approach the day's work with renewed zest, vigor and vitality!
Lastly, God, we ask YOU to guide us to behave in a way that makes YOU happy and pleased with us!
