She fell into his damp shoulder and held his fresh smelling body close. "Greg, go get dressed." Riley pushed away from him and kissed his cheek. "We'll be at the first venue soon."
Garbo got up and head to the back lounge to get changed. Joe and Riley broke out into fits of laughter every time they looked at each other. "Wait, so Joe." She remembered what they were going to talk about before. "What was wrong?"
She could see him struggling with himself. "Nicole, broke up with me." There, he said it.
"Oh, Joe." She wrapped her arms around his body and kissed the top of his head like a mother would do. "Why?"
"She thinks my mind is else where." He kept things vague; he knew Riley wouldn't pry much deeper. "We need a break I guess."
"Joe, I'm so sorry." She rubbed his back and kept him close. Though comforting Joe her thoughts were else where too. Why would Nicole just up and leave? She loved Joe and surprisingly enough Joe loved her back. There had to have been something going on.
The bus came to a stop. "We're here!" Greg yelled out in a heroic-like deep voice. Few seconds later he came out of the back lounge and gave Riley 'the speech.'
"Riley, these teenage girls are crazy. Like slit your throat crazy so just be cautious. They don't want you near any of the Jonases or doing anything that might upset them. They are packs of wild animals and they will hunt you down and kill you if you do the wrong thing. But other than that, let's have fun!" Garbo joked leaning against the tour bus door laughing at her alarmed expression.
"He's kidding Ry." Joe reassured holding back his smile. "They are going to love you."
Finally everyone emerged. Nick with Kevin, and Tori and the rest of the band, J.T, Jack, and Ryan. Garbo introduced Riley to John, Jack, and Ryan and went around showing her off to all the techs, employees, basically everyone. By the end of 25 minutes she was told so many names she didn't think she'd be able to keep hers straight. "Sound check!" Nick called to Riley who had to tear herself from Garbo and J.T.
She made her way into the venue, the big stage, all the people and seats it was overwhelming. "Whoa." She breathed out.
"Ready?" the sound tech set everything up and was waiting for her to sing and do that whole cool thing. She did, and she had to admit, it felt good. "Not bad." The sound tech mumbled before running off to do something else. She sat on the edge of the stage and took everything in. things have changed so much, I mean a few months ago she was working 2 jobs and struggling to get through now she was touring with her best friends.
"Excuse me miss?" security called out to her. "You need to move."
Doing as she was told she hopped off the stage and sat down in the chairs to watch the boys do their sound check. Joe and Kevin and Nick made her laugh the entire time, changing lyrics and dancing around.
After lock down and prep it was time for the first concert. Riley's set was phenomenal. The fan reaction, the excitement everything was just mind blowing for her. Saying her goodnights and leaving the stage she felt that rush, the rush of all the emotions she was cleansed. The Jonas brothers had a good night too. Full of energy, excitement, and kicking off their new tour. Riley couldn't ask for more.
The boys did their meet and greets and they piled back onto the bus. Riley on her bus with Garbo and nick, Joe, Kevin, and Tori on the other.
"You were amazing!" Garbo looked at Riley who was curled up on the couch watching E! news. He stood from the table and sat down next to her, pulling her onto his lap.
"Thanks." She kissed him, playing with a piece of his hair. "I'm beat and sore." She sighed, sinking deeper into his arms. She felt safe and warm, a feeling with she always had with him and never wanted to get rid of it.
"You're sore?" Garbo smiled deviously. "If I make it better you have to do the same for me." She nodded as he got up and made her lay down on the couch. Every bump and pothole hit raddled them.
kinda a filler and a gay chapter.
