We attempt to show basic strategies that could be used to finish Sengoku as quickly as possible. This is the first game in the classic Sengoku series of video games, developed by SNK (now known as SNK Playmore). This great beatemup series was also ported to the Neo Geo CD and Neo Geo AES home systems. Sengoku, an excellent, side scrolling brawler had great graphics and sound for its time, showing off the Neo Geo's hardware. Also, Sengoku has unique stage and character designs, as well as high quality music and challenging, addictive gameplay. In the course of the game, the player gains access to various characters that may be summoned, as well as different powerups and weapons. The gameplay was recorded directly from the system via a PC capture device. The Neo Geo is modded with a unibios (or "universal bios", created by Razoola). It provides plenty of additional functionality to Neo Geo systems, such as switching between AES console and MVS arcade modes, a jukebox player, cart crc check, cheat codes, and more. The Neo Geo 16bit arcade system was far ahead of its time (which uses cartridges for the games), especially the AES home console version of it that was later released. Both the MVS and AES are highly collectible - and moddable - for great prices. The system became the home of many of SNK's current famous series, including Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, and King of Fighters.
