This map was based on the Fan (More) Me playing a quick playthrough of my custom DOOM wad, Death Warp.
This map was based on the Fan Fiction story Room Warp by Kjata located at
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2162467/1/Room_Warp. This map was made for a contest on the new doom forums which had to be based on one of the six stories available. Since I stayed almost completely true to the story, minus the ending, there isnt much to do here except warp between rooms, and then fight Cyberdemons. the story for the map is as follows:

Steel walls with no corners to show where one began and the other ended. Steel floor to echo footsteps no matter how lightly you walk. Steel ceiling made to reflect even the harshest of a weapon's fire.
Look to the center of the room, see the circular transporter. Red light glazes off all surfaces, blinking off and on to say that it is in working order.
Prepare weapons, check ammo. Backpack full of bullets, and chain gun ready. Wishes to take enemies out with one shot fill your head, and you put your back to the red lights.
Take one step back, and feel the ride. Vision blurs, you choke on your own saliva, and you are in a new room.
One Imp is standing there, paralyzed with surprise. It raises its hands to cast a fireball as you take one step forward, and then disappears as you take one step back.
Vision blurs once again, and now you are in a room flooded with blood. The Baron of Hell is quicker to respond, and sloshes and wades towards you with a mighty roar. You step forward, the liquid up to your knees, and take one step back.
Back to the room you started in, or so you would think. It is identical to all you have visited minus the enemies, and yet you still feel threatened.
A shriek sounds out, makes your eardrums pound in fear.
You look up, and see a Lost Soul, in all of its terrorizing glory, gazing down at you with a leer. You unconsciously take one step forward and one step back.
This time you are in a room filled with the bodies of your fellow humans, of your supposed allies. They do nothing but lay on the floor with no life in them, rotting and waiting to be eaten by the Former Human Sergeants when they are hungry. You shiver in fear, and take one step forward and one step back.
A new room, and nothing new - A Former Human Sergeant is here to growl and lunge at you. 'When will this downward spiral end?' you cry in your mind, as you fight him off. 'When will I make my way through this hell and come out the other side?'
The enemy lays at your feet dead, and you have to stand on him to take one step forward. You let out a strangled sob; freeze in fear as you look up to see a Spectre running. It comes at you, the outline barely visible as it gets closer and closer.
You aim your chain gun, and squeeze the trigger, only to have it come up empty after letting out half of a round of bullets. Disbelief comes over you, how could you have used so many in such a short time? And as the enemy comes closer, the disbelief leaves and resolve takes its place.
One last thought passes through to you, as you try to take one last step back. I will not accept this. Now is not the time to die. (Less)
