Two Different Worlds Collide [Ch 72] Its been a few months since our interesting Christmas. Cassie and I are closer and stronger than (More) Its been a few months since our interesting Christmas. Cassie and I are closer and stronger than ever. She started school again and it was good to be on a regular schedule. Of course in true Cassandra fashion she was too worried about what other people thought. But people were sure not to bring whatever happened up. It was like an unspoken rule. But Im not sure if it was for her sake or mine. Ive never really told her what happened that night. She has an idea but shell never really know. I still have constant nightmares about it and of course Im still terrified that Eric is out there somewhere and we have no clue where. But I try to keep it together. And slowly but surely its eating away at me inside.
School has been stressful. Im worried about grades, baseball is intense and Im starting to train for football for next year. I dont think 24 hours is enough for me to get anything done. Who knew your last year of high school was so stressful. Even though cassie and I were in a good spot in our relationship I felt like I was somewhat neglecting her. She always wanted to just hang out but if it wasnt sports it was homework. But shes just amazing. She went to every game. She even made an awesome home made shirt with my number on it and was always there front row center with selena cheering nick and I on. Im glad selena and she hit it off. They became good friends and she was always there for cassie when I unfortunately couldnt be.
Judy seemed to be keeping her word. She hasnt bothered cassie. At least from what I know. I would catch her looking at us some times but other than that she was pretty much watching from far away. But people have been talking. I guess you could say my rep as joe jonas the bad boy has changed. a lot of my team mates tease me that Ive changed. Ive became soft. But I didnt care. Because it was true I did change. Cassie changed me. But thankfully for the better.
Tomorrow is mine and cassies 6 month anniversary [ok not good with math but lets pretend!] and I had to make it special. She deserves it. After everything shes done for me and everything shes put up with me its only right. I was getting out of practice and I was surprised to see her on the bleachers. She seemed lost in thought. I grabbed my stuff and met her there.
"boo!" I said scaring her. She jumped and hit me as I laughed at her. Gosh shes so cute. "watcha doing here."
"just came to think" she said after shrugging her shoulders.
"about?"
She turned to me and smiled. Gosh that smile. "you..." she teased.
"oh well Im flattered." I leaned in and gave her a kiss. She pulled back and giggled.
"whatever. Here." she said handing me a brown paper bag.
"a surprise? for me?" I asked opening it. Inside a sandwich, a juice box, and a bag of pop tarts. Its little things that she did for me like this that made me fall more in love with her everyday.
"I thought youd be a little hungry after practice."
I looked up at her as she watched me look through the bag. Her slight smile and the way her hair covered her face because of the wind made my stomach flip.
"thank you." I said truthfully. "so what are you doing tomorrow?" I asked taking a bite of my sandwich.
"um. Not much." she said thinking for a bit.
"well you and I will go on a date!"
"a date huh." she replied taking a sip of my juice.
"yep."
"what do you have up your sleeve jonas?"
"nothing reyes." I said getting up. "need a ride home?"
"sure." she said holding up her hands for me to help her up. I pulled her up and she crashed into me wrapping her hands around my neck. She gave me a quick peck and looked into my eyes. "I love ya you know."
"I know." I replied.
She laughed and I went to take her home. When I got back to my house Kevin was sitting on the couch watching tv.
"hey where is everyone?" I asked confused by the silence in our usually chaotic house.
"uh mom, dad, Frankie are out and nick is with selena, of course." he said still watching tv.
I fell into the couch still in a daze with being with cassie. She usually does this to me.
"wow. This is so weird to see you so...happy." he said.
"why?"
"I dont know. No girl has ever had this effect on you."
"shes special." I replied truthfully still thinking about her.
"how long have you been together?" he asked.
"6 months tomorrow."
"wow"
"i know."
"well are you planning on doing something for her?"
"yeah." I sat up. "will you help me?"

Ok kind of blah but its all catch up. Im sorry I havent posted! I went back to school and finals are killers!! Gah! And I posted for acoustichearts94 because its her poppas bday. Happy bday!
