take 2 ; 1992 ; greenhouse effect ============== Cover version of the Beatles 1962 classic (More) take 2 ; 1992 ; greenhouse effect ============== Cover version of the Beatles 1962 classic ....The G.e. version is on 1992's Agenda and it was recorded the same day as "Subdue', Manipulation, White Black, and a version of Dusty Springfield's "You don't have to say you Love me" which was never released ! ...This mini marathon recording session took place in a wee four hours (all that shark could afford - money from mowing lawns up in Bel Air ) on April 11, 1992....and it is amazing to think that an absolute rock classic like White Black was recorded so rapidly...in so little time and literally it was copyrighted like the very next day and mailed to labels the following week...to the usual G.e. rejection....An attorney grabbed the demo and shopped it as Shark paid him some 2500.00 $ of borrowed money...the attorney said that he had never heard a song so good and an unusual band too that was so good and perfect for the times...yet get rejected so much....several people actually refused to take the money of Shark to do things for G.e. as they pointed out to Shark ; "My friend...apparently, you are on some kind of 'blacklist' or something like that -- Hollywood style ..." After the sessions that would deliver White Black and Manipulation, about a week or two later would come the work days in the studio that would yield more stunners like "No takers', Brandy, Mysogynistia, Search and Destroy, Theme, ...and many more...all the songs were virtually played by Clark Hagins all by himself doing complex over-dubbing with Billy Krodel and Mark Nathanson....Shark was now trying over and over to perfect 'perfect alternative pop songs" yet give them the distinct and individual touch of G.e. ...In practically all of these sessions, Ted never shows and never plays...on many tracks, even the bass is performed by Hagins.
