KH2FM - Olympus Pete Fight 1 & 2 No Damage (LV1 CM) This is the two part fight against Pete at Olympus. Pete fight #1: Very easy to beat, and very easy (More) This is the two part fight against Pete at Olympus. Pete fight #1: Very easy to beat, and very easy to get a no damage on. All you have to do is damage Pete some. I'm not sure if there's a time limit or not but it seems there might be where it forces the fight to end. Anyway, you're supposed to protect Meg. She's really tough, even with Hook Bats swarming her she won't take much damage. Just concentrate on not getting hit by Pete's blasted explosion ball. Guard them back to him, if you stun him, go in for a combo. Use the Hook Bats against him for huge amounts of damage, more than you can do with the Keyblade at LV1. Just note if you kill all the Hook Bats, Soldiers then appear. Not like they will kill Meg, but it'd be nice to not chance it. Also, all the Heartless in this fight only go after Meg, so you're somewhat safe. Difficulty for normal LV1 win: ** Difficulty for LV1 no damage: *** Pete fight #2: This may be close to one of the hardest ones to pull off a no damage on so far. Right up there with the Hades run and Shan-Yu's fight. The ONLY reason it's annoying is because of the green ghosts. These guys can hit you too easily. Pete throwing explosion balls at you makes it no easier. There's also boulders falling down to top it off. The only way to really start this safely is to use Hercules' Reaction Command to protect you. It'll ward off the attacks (except Pete's stomping counterattack!). So after that quickly wears off things get difficult. You can do one of a few things. You can go towards Pete and hope you trigger the invincible move for Pete, which now comes with a Reaction Command. Or you can run around and hope to dodge the attacks until you're able to grab a Hook Bat. I must say, the Hook Bat method does NOT work too well here. The second you let go of the Hook Bat you're not immune to attacks anymore, meaning if the ghosts are around you'll probably get hit. So I'd suggest trying to get the RC from Pete. This time Hercules will break Pete's shield if you get to him while he's using it. Thing is, immediately after the shield is broken, you're vunerable. So it's basically a fight of luck. You have to hope Hercules or Donald or Goofy kill the ghosts off. Attack the ghosts yourself if you need to. After the ghosts are gone, it gets slightly easier. The Hook Bats now attack you, but you can grab them easily to avoid them and hit them with Pete. I'd suggest going Valor Form and comboing Pete a lot, it does nice damage here. Since, don't forget, you have a time limit now. The less Hook Bats, the better. But leave one so he doesn't summon another group. Simple, keep breaking his shield the second you see it appear to kill him quickly as possible. He does have a desperation move where he drops a gigantic boulder on top of your head, but you'll see it coming from a mile away and you need Hercules to protect you from it. Overall though, very tough to get no damage here, too much luck invovled, it's very annoying to redo the first fight. There's too many different ways you can get hit by the cheap ghosts (Wish I had Reflect right about now). Difficulty for normal LV1 win: **** Difficulty for LV1 no damage: ****** ---- Q: How do you stay Level 1? A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up. Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)? A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge. Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here). A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability. Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game? A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher. Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese! A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that. Q: How can I get KH2FM and how would I get it to run on my PS2? A: If you have the fat PS2, like me, get Swap Magic + a Slide Card. I got the Swap Magic 3.6 + Slide Card deal at thegiantstore.com. I also bought KH2FM at play-asia.com (more) (less) Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1? A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough. Q: Hey is this Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix?
