Keiichi and Rena's Story Mode in Higurashi Daybreak, from start to end. Omitted the actual (More) Keiichi and Rena's Story Mode in Higurashi Daybreak, from start to end. Omitted the actual fights, of course. Also will update it with a "translation" in a couple of days. I use translation in quotes because I don't have anywhere near the ability to provide a word for word translation, but rather it'll be the basics of what they're saying. Edit: After playing it through several times, there's still areas where I'm more or less in the dark to translate. Mostly that goddamn Satoko and some of Chie. I'll still post what I have if someone wants it, but for now I feel far more comfortable not raping what they say with merely going through a summary. Vs. Mion and Shion(Continued from first video) After the battle, Mion is bawling. Keiichi is wondering why the hell she is crying. Mion says that she's going to get her mom. Rena, the brains of the operation, wonders why Mion was crying, until she thinks that maybe Mion wanted the magtama's for both her and Keiichi. Shion notices the realization on Rena's face, and tells her to keep it a secret. Shion then says goodbye, and tells Keiichi that he should watch his back after this. Keiichi, being incredibly confused, can only wonder why he's getting such bad treatment. Rena claims that she doesn't know. Vs. Akane and Kasai Rena is surprised that Mion really did get her mom. Akane makes her big introduction, complete with her own sound effects. Keiichi is incredibly impressed, saying that she gives off the same feeling as Mion. Akane asks Keiichi is he is Keiichi Maebara, and if Rena is his girlfriend. Rena can't form a coherent sentence after hearing that. Keiichi is at least able to tell Akane that they aren't really a couple. Of course, he ends up going to far, saying that they don't even like each other in that way. Rena lays on the guilt, saying that Keiichi only sees her as a friend and a team partner. Akane interjects, saying that after she wins, Keiichi will have to call her "Mother-in-law." Keiichi rejects this, saying that with Rena, they are the strongest pair. After the battle, Akane says she understands why Mion likes Keiichi now. Kasai says that whatever decision they end up making, it is entirely up to them, and no one should meddle. Rena's simply happy that Keiichi said all those positive things about their her and their team, and Keiichi slightly regrets saying them out of embarrassment. (Less)
