M.U.G.E.N X-Mas: Aaahh! My Other Goddesses! (Okay, maybe not the *best* title, but...) I've always wanted something, either a match (More) (Okay, maybe not the *best* title, but...) I've always wanted something, either a match between (or a pair-up of) two characters from two different stories: Aino Minako / Sailor Venus (From the "Code Name: Sailor V!" manga and "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon" manga and anime) and Asamiya Athena (from the King of Fighters series, and both characters' surnames are last). The similarities between them involve the fact that both used to be Goddesses in (I believe) Greek Mythology. For Minako, she used to be Aphrodite (the Love Goddess) before being Princess/Sailor (I'm a bit rusty as to which at the time in the Manga and/or Anime) Venus during the Silver Millenium/Moon Kingdom and even in present day. She's outgoing and has leadership qualities. I believe her dream's to be an idol (in the manga/anime, but in the live action series I never saw, I think she was one). Athena... She used to be...well, Athena! Athena, in Greek Mythology, is the Goddess of Wisdom and War. I don't know this character as much, but I believe she *is* an Idol, she seems up-beat... (I need to check out Wikipedia). So which former Goddess will win? Stay tuned! Stage: (I don't know... It's a modified stage using an image I found, and it looks like a 3D-made Whoville, so think of it as that.) Stage BGM: Random Christmas Music (One or two pieces of music in there, more the former that I also used in the title music.) Note 1: (This normally highlights the problems I usually have with SnagIt, but that's on the video. I can comment on the Trial version of Ulead VideoStudio 8, but nah.) If you reached this far and feel that you don't want to be spoiled with this M.U.G.E.N video, scroll up or something... I wanted to be even-handed with the two (and I'm partial to Aino Minako), and so I made a second video and put it in there... The fighters are mainly evenly-skilled in M.U.G.E.N, that's how I see it. Would it be in a hypothetical show that puts Athena with Minako in it? You decide, but I doubt they'd go against each other in such a situation, and I'm not one to go into versus debates so easily like that. Note 2: Yes, yes! I know Christmas has passed. But not December! And how many of you guys and gals have taken down your decorations yet? Maybe it's me who does not readily take down the tree after the 25th. I think the theme and spirit of Christmas with red/green colors (as I put into the EVE Lifebar and palettes of both characters) and sounds of bells and music and such with snow and lit-up trees and such... I don't think it readily ends on the 25th. So think of this video as sort-of a post-Christmas Christmas/red-green themed M.U.G.E.N video. Punches and kicks and Hadoukens and Kamehamehas might not be in the spirit of Christmas, but it has red and green and slay bells and music, etc.! (Less)
