I have no "beef" with any religion. Whatever gives you light in the dark times is your choice not mine, so look at this in a purely observational fashion.
There is a reading in Revelations about worshipping God and only Him. In my opinion, most of us are so lost that we believe we are found. I believe Jesus existed. I also believe he existed for different reasons than you may believe. I believe Jesus existed the way the hero of a Children's story exists. He's not meant to be sold on lunchboxes and underwear, but to teach and reach young minds in a way that enables them to thrive in a positive way. To give them an example of the way life should be experienced in order to achieve the full potential of existence.
Somewhere in between life and death, the teachings of Jesus Christ were replaced by the image of a man. In an akward way......let me say it this way.....You know that saying about "Killing the Messenger". To kill the man giving you the message is pointless and in essence impervious to your cause. It does nothing to change the bad news. Jesus is being worshiped today for the message he brought to humanity, but he is not the one to be worshiped.
The messages of Jesus Christ are of God, The Great One, The Holy Spirit, Allah or what the natives referred to as the Great Spirit of the Sky. The name is not important. We are all here for reasons, each individually, but also collectively. I don't want to sit here and preach "Peace" on you like so many before me. I represent a different cause.
Love Jesus. Spread the words of Christ, but remember who you are worshipping. Jesus will not save you from everyday pitfalls. He will not be there when you win the Championship. His words, however, will provide you with what you need in order to realize your own life's importance.
In the end, I don't care either way. This world, this era in time, is not the one to love and care for all living things. All I ask is these 3 things. Do what you truly believe will make you happy and fulfilled throughout your days on earth. 2, Keep your mind open to anything. Stay prepared for anything, including yourself being wrong. It is no more important to be correct, than it is to know what correct is. Lastly, listen to this song and tell me what you think.
