CHAPTER 1 BRYNN: Oh my gosh Gabrielle, your cousin is the best. I cant believe he has enough (More) CHAPTER 1 BRYNN: Oh my gosh Gabrielle, your cousin is the best. I cant believe he has enough connections to get us into the front row of a Jonas Brother's concert! GABRIELLE: He thought that being in the back was just as good as being up front, close to the Jonas Brothers! I had to tell him why we wanted to go. Basically I had to explain to him that we are madly in love with them. BRYNN: Awkward!! PAIGE: *Distractedly.* Hey guys does my hair look okay? *She pats down her already smooth hair.* GABRIELLE: Yes, it looks gorgeous, as usual. I am so excited! In just over an hour we are going to be right up close to the hottest boys on the face of the earth! *Paige and Brynn giggle as Gabrielle skips around, singing Hold On to herself.* *The girls are in a hallway leading into the stadium. Tons of people are cramming themselves into the doors marked "Seats", but Paige, Brynn, and Gabrielle know that they can take their time. Gabrielle's uncle got them free tickets for the VIP row of the audience. This meant that they would be three of only a few select people to be in the front, roped-off area of the arena. They were guaranteed a place to stand, so they didn't bother to follow everyone else into the stadium.* *Gabrielle begins to sing SOS, with Paige and Brynn joining in at the chorus.* PAIGE, BRYNN, AND GABRIELLE: Ooh, this is an SOS Don't wanna second guess This is the bottom line it's true... *Laughing, Paige and Brynn decide that they are going to go the bathroom before the concert starts. Gabrielle went before they left their houses, so she decides to go to their seats and wait for them there. As she walks, she thinks to herself, "I cant believe that I am going to see the Jonas Brothers up close!"* GABRIELLE: This is amazing! *She throws her fist out to the side while she lets out a little scream of excitement. However, her scream was interrupted by a loud...* BOY: Ow!!! *He covers his right eye with one hand* GABRIELLE: Oh my gosh, are you okay? I am so sorry! I didn't mean to! I was so happy about something and then I just... Sorry! BOY: Oh, it's okay. *Clearly still in pain.* Though I think I am going to have a black eye now. GABRIELLE: I am so sorry! I really didn't mean to! *She looks at his face to see the damage, and, although the boy still has his hands mostly covering his face, there is no mistaking that amazingly curly brown hair...* GABRIELLE: Oh my gosh...You are Nick Jonas! I am so sorry! I didn't do it on purpose! Oh my gosh I feel so bad now! I am so sorry! *She is very embarrassed.* I really am sorry... NICK: It's alright. *He feels the area around his injured eye.* GABRIELLE: No it's not! I feel terrible! I'm such an idiot! *Still really embarrassed.* NICK: You didn't mean to, it's okay. Unfortunately, I cant really see anything too well, but I need to get backstage to get ready! *He looks frustrated with himself, rather than with Gabrielle, for his situation.* *Gabrielle's eyes well up with tears of embarrassment. She had just maimed a Jonas Brother!* NICK: Hey, would you do me a favor and point me in the direction of the Stage Doors? *Gabrielle doesn't answer, because she is crying. However, because he can't see, Nick doesn't realize this.* NICK: Please? GABRIELLE: *In a soft voice, trying to disguise the fact that she is so embarrassed.* Sure. *She takes his arm and points him the right way. He walks forward and hits a wall. This makes Gabrielle feel even worse. Why can't she do anything right? Still feeling terrible, she takes hold of his arm and walks him all the way to the door. The security look at her suspiciously.* GABRIELLE: *Whispers.* Um, what should I do about the security? NICK: *To security.* Oh, it's okay guys, let us through. SECURITY: Are you alright, Mr. Jonas? Do you need help? NICK: No, it's okay. I have all the help I need right here. Thanks. *Gabrielle leads Nick into another, smaller hallway, and then through two doors saying "Celebrity Suites -- Keep Out". They end up in a well furnished room with a couch, table, refrigerator, and soda machine. Two boys are standing at the machine, trying to get it to take their money. They turn around when Gabrielle and Nick enter, and Gabrielle realizes that they are Joe and Kevin Jonas, Nick's older brothers.* (Less)
