KH2FM - Black Pearl Battle/Protect Ship No Damage (LV1 CM) Ah, the Black Pearl fight. I thought I would have loads of trouble here and barely make it by. Well, (More) Ah, the Black Pearl fight. I thought I would have loads of trouble here and barely make it by. Well, it was tough for no damage, but I still pulled it off in less than 10 tries magically. I guess I got used to the fight from my first Critical Mode attempt where I was only LV 17/18. So here is that fight and the short hard to lose one that comes after it.
Black Pearl: Very tough fight. It's the second part of a two part fight. The one before it is just a warmup. There are a lot of pirates in this one, and to top it off, the Black Pearl is shooting cannons at you.
I was smarter this time around. I lowered my anti-points so I would almost be guarenteed not going anti. Wisdom Form is a great tool against these guys. I started off with Trinity Limit though. Not overly helpful here, but it does great damage against the first group. After that, go Wisdom before Donald bites the dust. Then go far away from the Pirates and start using Shoot on them. Thunder + Shoot works wonders. Just be careful, the pirates like to jump on the ship behind you.
After Wisdom Form runs out, just keep using Thunder. Apparently they just run into the wall if you go in front of the wheel. If they do get through or if one shows up behind you, quickly Thunder it and take it out.
Difficulty for normal LV1 win: ****
Difficulty for LV1 no damage: ******
Protect Ship: Here you just have to keep the stupid ship from exploding. Very easy fight, hard unless you don't go near the Air Pirates. The Air Pirates are trying to ignite the containers. So to stop them, kill one or both. More will appear, but this slows them down. After you kill them, knock the first 3 Containers off. Then go upward and choose however you want to knock the last two off. You really shouldn't get hit on this one.

Difficulty for LV1 no damage: **
***How to get rid of Anti-Points***
I will tell you how to get rid of Anti-Points without Final Form. This is how I assume Apul does it, because I don't know any other way. As you should know, everytime you use a Drive Form (other than Final Form), it adds +1 to your anti-points. The more anti-points you have, the bigger chance you have of going anti-form. Some say Anti-form is a great Form, but in a LV1 game, it's pretty much a death wish. So to lower it, this is what you do:
1. Make sure your Drive Gauge is either full or that you at least have enough Guages to drive.
2. Go anywhere that you can be easily killed. An area where heartless automatically appear the second you enter is recommended.
3. When you enter the new area, when the heartless appear, Drive into a Form. If you DO NOT guy anti, then get yourself killed. Use the Continue and keep trying.
The idea is to try to go anti-form. When you DO go anti-form, leave the area. Everytime you go anti-form your anti points are decreased by -4. If you keep using Continue, they won't increase every attempt. If you've tried around 10 or more times with no anti-form, I'd say you're probably safe.
The reason this is preffered is because the chances of going anti-form during boss fights ore scripted fights are usually x2. And x4 during Org fights (apparently it's x10 for Armored Xemnas, yikes!). Don't do this slow method if you have Final Form though. Final Form decreases it by -10. So using Final Form like 10-20 times in a row means you won't be going anti for a loooooooong time. But since this is before you get Final Form, this is the only method.

Q: How do you stay Level 1?
A: In Critical Mode in KH2FM, you are given an EXP 0 ability at the beginning of the game. Equipping it makes it so you don't gain experience. Drive Forms aren't affected by it, so you can still level those up.
Q: What's Critical Mode (CM)?
A: Critical Mode is the new difficulty mode in KH2FM. It's basically slightly harder than a low level Proud Mode challenge.
Q: Hey how come you have (Insert ability here) at level 1 when you get (insert same ability here) at (insert KH2 required level here).
A: In KH2FM, they switched some abilities around and made some where you don't have to level up to gain them. A perfect example is the Scan ability.
Q: How can you do 2 finishers so early on in the game?
A: Just like with the EXP 0 ability, you're also given a Finishing Plus ability at the start of the game. So you can do 1 normal finisher + a second finisher.
Q: How come I hear English voices if this is KH2FM? I thought it was Japanese!
A: KH2FM has English voices with Japanese text. Simple as that, I don't know why people can't grasp that.
Q: How come your stats increase if you're level 1?
A: You get bonus level stat ups from beating scripted fights. For example, some give you HP+, MP+, Strength +1, Defense +1, etc. If this didn't happen, then it would be near impossible to do a LV1 playthrough. (Less)
