Iste dünyanin kendi reformlarina uzak kalmayalim diye örnek alinan bati modeli bestecilerini Fransa'ya, Avusturya'ya gönderme telasiyla yola çikar.Bati müziginin birikimlerini almaya giden sanatçilarimiz o formülü denemek adina iki kusak yetistirdi. Bunlarin birincisi taklitçi tarzi getirdigi için ikinci kusagi da etkilediler. Yarattiklari kompozisyonlar Türk müzigi ve Türk halk müziginin genel formasyonunu çözmeden ve kendi yorumlarini yaratmadigi için taklit olmanin ötesine geçemedi. Örnegin ; Cemal Resit Rey'in Fransa da yaptigi 12 chanson (sarki) orada kabul görürken ülkemizde kabul görmez. Senfonik türkü kompozisyon denemeleri bir türlü halka ulasamaz. Bugün geçmise baktigimizda bu anektodun bize hatirlattigi çok sey var. Birincisi kendi müzikal kimligimizi kendi dokularimizla ve enstrümanlarimiza hakim olarak yani metotlarini yazarak bir yeni kimlik kazana biliriz. Müzik biliminin ana dili Italyan'cadir. Sarki söyleme tekniklerini dünyaya bosuna kabul ettiren Onlar olamazdi. Dünya konservatuarlarinda o teknik ögretiliyor. Müzik endüstrisinin dünyada hakim olmasi hep bu yüzdendir. Gelelim bizim kaynaklarimiza bu kadar zengin ritimleri ,danslari , ve ozanlari dolup tasmis ama kimsenin eli degmemis , anlasilmamistir. (Veya bu konu ile ilgilenen çok az kiymetli sanatçi yeterince anlasilip deger görmemistir.) Fakat , Ünlü Macar Besteci 'Bela Bartok' ülkemize sempati duyan bir dahi olarak gelir . Ayni zamanda ülkemizde türkülerin notaya aktarilmasini saglar. Ama ona karsi yapilan bir haksizlikla yurdumuzu terk eder. Onun koydugu çalismalar bazi besteciler tarafindan anlasilsa da kendi özgünlügümüzü yakalayan bestecilerimiz olacakti. Türk müziginin yeni sesi, yeni müzikal formunu olusturma çabasi geçen 70 yilda ilginç bir noktaya geldi. 1940'lardan -- 1970'lerin sonuna kadar ülkemizde güzel bir gelisme yasanmistir:Yaklasik 130 tane orkestra kurulur. Bunlar kendi müzik tarzimizin ne olmasi gerektigini deneyen müzisyenlerimizin adimlariydi. Bugün orkestralardan bahsedemiyoruz ! Yakin tarihimiz açisinda 1978 yilinda Türk Musikisi Devlet Konservatuarinin kurulusuyla bütün çözülmesi gereken müzikal arayislarimiz için bir adim atilir .Bu okul yasadigimiz günlerin pop star körlesmelerinin neden devam ettigine de cevap verilmedigini halen 1940larda yasanan serüvenin problemlerinin sürdügünü gösteriyor. Sonuç olarak : Daha çok arastirma ve çalisma yapmak için 'enstitüler' açilmali ve kaynaklar ayrilmalidir. Gerçek müzik kimligi ve tarihi bu sanatçilara desteklemek ve sahip çikmakla , yasarken deger verilmelidir. Türkiye'nin müzik adamlarina ya Amerikalilar yada Batililar sahip çikiyor. Bunun örnekleri bir çok insanimizda bilir. Asil tehlike ve aydinlanmanin önündeki engel beyinlerini kaybeden bir ulus olmamizdir . Geride kalan bütün meseleler çözülebilir. Yeni bestecilerini, yeni müzisyenlerini koruyan bir yasayla ve kurumla ucuzlastirilan müzik gelenegimizin ayaklar altina alinmasina izin vermemek üzerimize düsen bir vatan borcudur. There are now theories circulating that Bach's wife may have helped him write the Goldberg Aria and that she may have been the sole composer for Bach's astoundingly beautiful solo cello suites.
The Goldberg Variations, BWV 988, are a set of 30 variations for harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach. First published in 1741 as the fourth in a series Bach called Clavier-Übung, "keyboard practice", the work is considered to be one of the most important examples of variation form. It is named after Johann Gottlieb Goldberg, who may have been the first performer.
Johann Nikolaus Forkel:
"For this work we have to thank the instigation of the former Russian ambassador to the electoral court of Saxony, Count Kaiserling, who often stopped in Leipzig and brought there with him the aforementioned Goldberg, in order to have him given musical instruction by Bach. The Count was often ill and had sleepless nights. At such times, Goldberg, who lived in his house, had to spend the night in an antechamber, so as to play for him during his insomnia. ... Once the Count mentioned in Bach's presence that he would like to have some clavier pieces for Goldberg, which should be of such a smooth and somewhat lively character that he might be a little cheered up by them in his sleepless nights. Bach thought himself best able to fulfill this wish by means of Variations, the writing of which he had until then considered an ungrateful task on account of the repeatedly similar harmonic foundation. But since at this time all his works were already models of art, such also these variations became under his hand. Yet he produced only a single work of this kind. Thereafter the Count always called them his variations. He never tired of them, and for a long time sleepless nights meant: 'Dear Goldberg, do play me one of my variations.' Bach was perhaps never so rewarded for one of his works as for this. The Count presented him with a golden goblet filled with 100 louis-d'or. Nevertheless, even had the gift been a thousand times larger, their artistic value would not yet have been paid for."
The Goldberg Variations have been reworked freely by many performers, changing either the instrumentation, the notes, or both.
Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger, transcription for two pianos, op.3
Ferruccio Busoni prepared a massively altered transcription for piano. According to Michael Kimmelman, "Busoni shuffled the variations, skipping some, then added his own rather voluptuous coda to create a three-movement structure; each movement has a distinct, arcing shape, and the whole becomes a more tightly organized drama than the original."[11]
