Team Luigio Match #39: Strider Hiryu vs Sasuke-Kun Ladies (lol, there are no girls on teh interbutts) and Gentlemen, Luigio MUGEN has returned!!!! (More) Ladies (lol, there are no girls on teh interbutts) and Gentlemen, Luigio MUGEN has returned!!!! Finally, after a month of no battles I have revived the system.
The reason for my long absence from MUGEN was an error that occured in the engine in which the CPU characters lost all of their customized AI, making them simple-minded crap characters.
So I sulked for a few weeks and went to making SMBZ AMVs and recordings of Marvel vs Capcom before I finally asked for help. It was then that JudgeSpear gave me the best advice (Try re-installing MUGEN). I reinstalled the game and mass moved all of my characters and screenpacks over, but that didn't change anything.
It must have been the screenpack, I thought, so i started over, transferred my characters and stages over, and got myself a new screenpack. This is Broken MUGEN 0.99, by far one of the greatest screenpacks I have ever seen. The intro screen is amazing, and the interactivity is made so much better. However, new screenpack means new intro. Therefore, I used the same clips, but changed the song. The new song is "Sixth of June" by It Dies Today.
Now on to the match. Strider Hiryu proves his worth to Team Luigio by taking on one of the most hated characters of MUGEN, Sasuke-Kun. However, this new version plays better because his attacks are reduced in power and he doesn't rely on calling out Naruto and Kakashi to mess things up. This finally makes Sasuke-Kun into a competitive character, versus a broken one.
