Anyway...
Yep, it's a new AkuRoku vid. And guess what?
THIS TIME, IT'S NOT DEPRESSING!!!
...Not that I mind making those kind of vids (sad ones, I mean), I just know that some people tend to think AkuRoku gets a little too depressing sometimes. (Hey, I loved them together BEFORE their story became a tragedy, so it doesn't matter much to me =) ) I figured that I needed some balance in my AkuRoku vids too, so that's how this came about :)
So yes, this is to a Maroon 5 song. And yes, this is yaoi.
Yeah...well, over the past few months, I've found that it can be kinda fun to play around with the idea of yaoi, if you don't take it TOO seriously.
And come on, how can you NOT take advantage of Axel's total smexyness? ;D
So this is kind of a tongue-in-cheek yaoi, really. (Tongue-in-cheek being an EXPRESSION)
Not too serious, and most likely won't make you cry. (Yay!)
So anyway, I got the new CD from Maroon 5 (as you can probably tell, lol), and me, being the AkuRoku-obsessed fangirl I am, looked for songs that matched up with it.
And wouldn't you know that it was the very first song on the CD that caught my attention?
This song, as a whole, might not fit Axel and Roxas entirely, but a lot of it does, which is why I picked it.
Axel has just wrapped up a little summer affair with Roxas, but while Axel definitely wants to see more of him, Roxas is like "Erm...no".
But Axel, the one we know and love, doesn't give up that easily ;)
So Axel keeps trying to track Roxas down, despite Roxas moving, TWICE (yeah, I kinda omitted that incident that happened on the third visit to Twilight Town...), 'cause he'd do ANYTHING to see him again, even if that means him getting beat up in the process ;) He knows that even if Roxas doesn't decide to come back to him, at least he tried, and appreciates what they once had.
There are elements of stalker-ish-ness in this...which is kind of intended, hehe...
And YES, I know that that coated guy who grabs Roxas and such isn't Axel, but those clips worked very well with the lyrics, and the only way you can REALLY tell is to look at the guy's not-so-lean figure...
And there is a definite hint of RoxasxSora in this, but that wasn't my exact intention, it just fit the lyric WAY too well ;D
It's probably the funniest part of the whole video. It makes me smile every time ;)
There's a small bit of Larxel in this too...just one clip though.
Like I said, this one isn't a downer. When compared to my other AkuRokus, this is pretty hyper =)
This is my first (finished) video in which I've used battle clips (but not the first time I've worked with battle footage...long story, but I made a parody with them once that hasn't been saved yet, due to problems with upgrading to WMM 2.1...), which are a little tough to work with, since they can be so random. But I tried to make the clips match the rhythm of the music, with some success :)
And if you notice, I used the English and Japanese versions of the first Axel battle. I don't know if anyone's noticed, but KH-Vids has replaced most (if not all) of their Japanese KH2 battle footage with English ones, and have seemed to have gotten rid of the Japanese ones, which SUCKS since the English re-records, from what I've seen, aren't all that great. (For example, the Japanese version of the first Axel battle vid is longer than the English one)
...And I'm ranting again...sorry...
Anyway, hope you like this vid, I think it's pretty fun ^_^
Oh, yeah, now I have to say this...*sigh*:

*grumbles* I hate having to do that...
The fanart at the end of it is an AkuRoku that I found on photobucket a while back, though it's probably from deviantart.
It's probably overused in stuff like this, but I thought it fit this vid nicely :)
Sorry about the delay in getting this one finished and up, I've been VERY busy with other projects, especially this special one that I HAVE to finish soon...Plus I've found some new songs to work with, so no worries, I've got a lot more coming =)
