I believe it is the recording on the 'Unofficial' album and it was recorded, complete with bum notes from Walt and John, in about two hours. I wrote all the music for 'I'm Falling' (obviously) and, being unashamedly prejudiced, I believe that it is by far the greatest song that the original band ever recorded. It is a diamond. It is a precious and magnificent work that could never have belonged to any band in the World except The Babys. I do, however, like both versions of it but probably I think that I prefer the demo which was, in fact, produced by the band. It has far more passion than the Broken Heart version although the latter version still has much to be said for it. I have often thought that it would be quite interesting to cut more versions of it. Either way, it represents the most private moment that ever existed between John Waite and myself. We sat in a cold room together in the basement of an old warehouse where we rehearsed, in Tooley Street, down by the old docks in South East London. There was no-one else there. I knew it was magic the moment I wrote it on an old Swedish 'Harmony' accoustic guitar, in an open 'E' tuning, the night before at my little house in Winders Road, Battersea, South London. John's Waite's lyrics and vocal approach was quite different to the one I was thinking of and it worked extremely well which is why it is a very genuine collaboration of two artists. born may 5 1988, small town of Bolton 45 miles north Toronto Canada. Growing up in a small town help her discover many different things. she studied singing, dancingearly, and fashion. Her young teens she'd moved on to songwriting, and recorded a demo with the help of a local Bolton music school. A combination of luck and marketability brought the demo to the attention of Canadian label execs, who hooked Sweetnam up with a local producer and instrumentalist named James Robertson. Together, Robertson and Sweetnam hammered out the structure of what would become Noise from the Basement, her Capitol Records debut. The single "Billy S." appeared in July 2003 on the soundtrack to the Mandy Moore vehicle How to Deal; the song's sassy popternative sound proved quite popular, making some waves in the U.S. and hitting the top spot on Canada's Disney Channel-style offering, YTV. Sweetnam supported the single with a tour of summer camps. The year 2004 began promisingly for Sweetnam, with the announcement of a March issue date for Noise from the Basement and a new single in "Tangled Up in Me"; she also landed the opening spot on Britney's Onyx Hotel tour. She soon became popular in asia,2005 she tour in Japan,Korea and thialand.
