Kevin Lamb Music Showcase part 2 Kevin Lamb, started playing guitar and harmonica, at the age of fifteen. He was influences by, (More) Kevin Lamb, started playing guitar and harmonica, at the age of fifteen. He was influences by, Elvis, Eddie Cochran, and many other major musicians of the time! Kevin recorded his first album (Who Is The Hero) for a company called Birth Records, which was owned by CBS. After this, one of the songs from this album caught the attention of a well known London Band Rare Bird and it was again recorded by them for they're (Born Again) album. Kevin is also on this album and was instumental in that he wrote the lyrics for serveral of the songs for the (Born Again) album with Steve Gould of Rare Bird. The Titles include (Virginia, Lonely Street, and of cource, Who Is The Hero). Who is the Hero, gave Kevin the nudge to become a part of the London music scene. Prior to this he had been playing mostly folk clubs in the North of England. Kevins, next album titled (Sailing Down the Years) was recorded for Arista Records, in 1978. It was produced by Gary Lyons, who also produced the first of many albums by Foreigner. A song from this second album titled On The Wrong Track written and played by Kevin Lamb, reached number 62 on the top 100 billboard chart in 1978. Kevin then traveled to the United States, and played the L.A. music scene for many years. He has played many venues since this time stretching from LA to Nashville and up he East Coast. He has written many new songs over the years, but till now, had not recorded them. Kevin now lives in Leominster, MA and he is currently working on a new album that should be available by the end of this year.

Kevin used this name (a reverse of his real name) due to contractual issues with Cambell-Connelly pubishers at the time! His name has since been corrected in the credits that can be seen here...

Kevin is also found on the (Somebody's Watching) album. Released by (Rare Bird) 1971 where they re-release (Who is the Hero) originaly written, and published on Kevin's first album titled (Who is The Hero) He does vocals on the (Rare Bird) version.... found here
