A graduate of Physical Education from Rio de Janeiro University, he specialized in fitness through dance. Moving to Europe in 1992 he made a name for himself teaching Hip Hop, Latin Rhythms, Lambada and Salsa. He has taught his unique style of dance and fitness classes and workshops in a total of 36 countries so far. He returned to Brazil in 2005 to concentrate and deepen his expertise in Brazilian Zouk Lambada and Salsa and to learn and work with world famous professionals such as Renata Pecanha, Luis Floriao, Jose Carlos Valverde. SARAH GIBBONS has been passionate about dance and gymnastic from childhood. Since a young age, she has devoted herself to learning Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa, Belly dancing, African dance and Funk. She became dance partner with Marcos in 2003 and has since toured 12 countries with him. Arriving in Brazil in 2005 she concentrated on dancing the Brazilian rhythms of Lambada, Samba, forro, fox trot and Brazilian Funk. Specialising in Brazilian Zouk Lambada and Salsa has learned from and worked with famous world professionals such as Renata Pecanha, Luis Floriao, Jose Carlos Valverde. Since 2006 Sarah and Marcos have been teaching Zouk and Salsa classes in Rio and Spent one month giving workshops in Europe. They have been actively involved with Brazilian Dance Association (ANDANCAS), coordinated by Luis Floriao in trying to develop the profile and understanding of Brazilian rhythms world wide. They will return to Europe in July 2007 in order to continue to teaching and supporting the movement Brazilian and Latin dances in Europe. (Less)
