About the video- It's a tribute to the French movie Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain) and of course to Radiohead as well~ Amélie (played by Audrey Tautou) is a kind-hearted and introverted girl living in Paris. With a history of a lonely childhood and distant parents, she's living in a surreal and romantic world of her own. Driven by her will to secretly help others, she often forgets about herself and hides behind her charitable nature. But her life is about to change; she suddenly falls in love with a man named Nino after a sudden eye-contact in a subway station. Both sharing similar pasts and personalities, it's like they're meant to be together. Nino, however, doesn't know who Amélie is, and she can't get herself to tell him about her feelings. After picking up a collection of discarded photo booth pictures dropped by Nino, she begins to make contact with him little by little.. There's a lot more in this movie than what this video suggests. I wanted to focus on the story of Amélie and Nino~ I'm not going to explain everything with every detail but simply said it's about Amélie's journey as her imaginary fake world becomes reality, which is what the video's title is all about. This song seemed very appropriate for this concept and Amélie in general. And Radiohead is just awesome anyway =) There's a lot of details on this video and I can assure you that there's no clip that is just randomly put there~ And: SPOILER WARNING!
