Live - Overcome (MTV versie met beelden van 9-11 ) Live is een Amerikaanse band die bestaat uit Patrick Dahlheimer, Chad Gracey, Chad Taylor, en Ed (More) Live is een Amerikaanse band die bestaat uit Patrick Dahlheimer, Chad Gracey, Chad Taylor, en Ed Kowalczyk. De band staat bekend om haar grote hits, zoals Lightning Crashes, I Alone en Overcome. De band werd halverwege de jaren tachtig opgericht in het Amerikaanse York, Pennsylvania. Oorspronkelijk heette de band First Aid. Na enkele naamswijzigingen werd de band Public Affection genoemd. Onder deze naam bracht de band in 1989 in eigen beheer hun eerste album The Death of a Dictionary uit. Dit album is alleen op cassette verschenen. Toen het label Radioactive Records met de band in zee ging kwam na de maxisingle Four songs in 1991 het album Mental Jewelry uit. De band heette vanaf toen Live. Het geluid van de band was nog aardig rauw. Het grote succes had de band in die tijd met het album Throwing Copper. Van dit album kwamen de singles I Alone, All Over You, Selling The Drama en Lightning Crashes. Dit album bezorgde de doorbraak van de band. Throwing Copper werd opgevolgd door Secret Samadhi. Echt succesvol bij het grote publiek werd dit album niet. De zwarte hoes en CD illustreren de zeer rauw en donker klinkende muziek. En van de bekendere nummers van dit album Lakini's Juice is ontstaan terwijl de bandleden in bad zaten niks te doen. De band stond weer echt in de schijnwerpers toen in 1999 het album The Distance To Here uitkwam. De single The Dolphin's Cry werd een top 10 hit voor Live. Ook de singles Run To The Water en They Stood Up For Love deden het goed. The Distance To Here werd het grootste succes voor de band bij het echte grote publiek, maar de fans van het eerste uur hadden niet zoveel meer met het album, die naar hun idee bij lange na niet de variatie, rauwheid en originaliteit liet zien van de eerste drie albums. De band kwam in 2001 terug met het album V ('five'), waarop de band naar eigen zeggen wilde laten zien "dat ze nog best mee konden komen". Het geluid is wat harder, maar sloeg niet goed aan bij het grote publiek. De single Forever May Not Be Long Enough werd wel de soundtrack voor de film The Mummy Returns. Het rustigste nummer van dit album, Overcome, groeide uit tot de grootste hit van Live. Velen denken dat Live dit nummer speciaal naar aanleiding van de aanslagen van 9/11 heeft geschreven, maar in feite stond het nummer al daarvoor op de site van de band. Omdat men het nummer "bij de gevoelens van die dagen vond passen", werd het vervroegd uitgebracht. De opbrengst ging naar een goed doel. (Less)

Yogiraj is considered an illumined living master and solar seer, and helps sincere practitioners of yogic meditation awaken to higher levels of consciousness through chakra awakening/activation and esoteric practices of Himalayan yoga.
Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath was born on May 10, 1944 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has been meditating since the age of 3, and spent his early years in the Himalayas amongst the HamsaNath yogis, in whose presence he was transformed. The divine transformation flowered after his deep and personal experiences in 1961 and 1967 with the yogi-christ Mahavatar Shiv-Goraksha-Babaji, the same spiritual master described in Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. He has a wife of 30+ years, Gurumata Shivangani, with whom he built by hand the Hamsa Yoga Sangh Ashram (Spiritual Retreat) outside the city of Pune, near Bombay, India. They have two sons, and two grandchildren.
Yogiraj teaches yogic meditation for the evolution of human consciousness. These perennial practices of yoga are the most ancient closely guarded sacred practices of the Himalayan yogis and masters from time immemorial. They help the practitioner gradually transform him/herself into the likeness of his/her own divinity.
