Ready to use your imagination? This is my first piece of coursework for the second year of music (More) Ready to use your imagination? This is my first piece of coursework for the second year of music technology A-Level. It is a piece of film music to a scene that I created. The scene is of a spec-op sneaking through a forest, trying to reach a hidden hanger to aquire information on the enemies research and successfully plant a bomb to destroy their work. The actual film, of course, doesn't exist, so I have put pictures in place of each cue to help create an image in your minds. Here is a list of all the cues: Picture 1 - A tilt-up shot of trees in a dense forest Picture 2 - A man sneaks across the forest floor. he is searching for something and is trying to remain unseen. Picture 3 - he thinks he hears someone nearby and quickly crouches down, looking through the trees for a sign. Picture 4 - He assumes it was nothing and continues through the forest, which is now thinning. he stops as he hears running water up ahead. he runs towards it. Picture 5 - bursting out into a clearing he comes across a large waterfall. he stands and admires it until focusing once more. he approaches it and goes through a secret door behind the curtain of water. Picture 6 - He is now standing in a dark corridor. he slowly walks up to a light at the end. Picture 7 - this light turns out to be a computer screen in the middle of a large, pitch black room. he is here. he begins working on downloading the information and setting the bomb(camera in time lapse) Picture 8 - as he walks back towards the door he came through, a large machine starts up. lights suddenly glare down revealing the size of the room he is in. shocked, he looks around to see if he has been spotted, when gaurds suddenly burst out of a door on the far side of the hanger. Picture 9 - He runs back the way he came, past the waterfall and back into the forest, the guards hot on his tail. Picture 10 - a huge explosion over the canopy of the trees signals that his bomb has worked. Picture 11 - however, the guards have now caught up and he is cornered on the edge of a cliff. but as the guards close in, he jumps off; parachuting safely into the forest far below. The score was composed entirely by me and either sequence or played into Logic Pro software for Macintosh. My influences for this score included Martin O'Donnell, Thomas Newman, Michael Giacchino, Hans Zimmer and Nobuo Uematsu among many others. Please Rate and Comment! I hope you enjoy it (Less)
