Chapter 19-
It was about two hours later and they were headed to the venue. The girls had had their share of paparazzi so they were very excited to be heading to a place where there were none. Nick, Kevin and Joe could tell that the girls weren't acting like themselves, so when they got to the venue they went into a secluded room to talk about it.
"What's wrong?", Nick asked. He was pointing the question at Ali, even though it was for all of them.
"Is it like that all the time?", Ali said.
"Pretty much", he said.
"Are your reputations going to be tarnished because three girls got off your bus with you and then went out to eat with you?", Sam asked.
"Reputations are tarnished everyday. We know what really happened", Kevin said.
"Are you guys really that selfless. You don't have any idea what this is going to do to you?", Joe asked.
"Tomorrow we are headed to Reno. We will be nobody's again. You guys are the ones that are going to have to deal with answering questions and getting hounded", Sam said.
They all sat in silence thinking it through. Tomorrow was something they really didn't want to think of, in fact they hadn't thought about it till then. Now it was the only thing on their mind. They only had a couple more hours with each other which really didn't lighten the mood.
"Guys will you play with me for a little?", Frankie said as he walked in the room.
"Frank the TANK. Sure bud what you do want to play?", Joe said. The three girls watched as the boys played with Frankie.
The anxieties of tomorrow were slowing creeping in. Two days wasn't that long, but it was long enough to fall head of heels for Nick, Kevin and Joe. They still had no idea what they boys wanted. They hoped for the same thing, but it was very illogical. They didn't know if they were that patient. The last thing they wanted to be was a burden. It was all so confusing. Ali got up to leave, she didn't look to well, so Nick and Sam followed her out to the bathroom.
"Nick I think I should handle this", Sam said.
"Why?", he asked.
"Did you ever think that you are the one who is causing this?", Sam asked.
"No, why would I be the one?", Nick asked.
"You, Joe and Kevin are amazing. Talented and Beautiful. Sweet and Romantic. All the things a girl looks for in a guy, but this is over tomorrow and it's easier to not get to involved", Sam admitted.
"Who said this was over tomorrow?", Nick asked.
"The fact that we are heading back to Reno and you are going to Denver", Sam said.
"There is such thing as a phone. It won't be over tomorrow", Nick said. Sam just stood there, she didn't know what to say. Was it possible that Nick had fallen for her sister in only two days too.
"Do you mind if I go talk to her?", Nick asked after a second.
"No. Nick go ahead", Sam said.
"Thanks", Nick said and he walked off in the direction Ali ran. Sam was standing there speechless when two strong arms wrapped around her from behind.
"I guess we should talk", Joe said. He kissed on the base of her neck and grabbed her hand and took her for another walk.
