Sonic the Hedgehog 1 Marble Zone Dance (re)Mix *Music* Full quality download plus remixes http://sonic.tcpmusic.com [Sonic the Hedgehog Marble Zone Act 1] (More) Full quality download plus remixes http://sonic.tcpmusic.com [Sonic the Hedgehog Marble Zone Act 1] --[Description]: There's no SOUND EFFECT for sonic jumping! (effects are quieter overall) You'll hear the original Marble theme once, followed by the remix at 0:45. -- [Music]: You're listening to my treated multipart remaster of the original theme composed by Masato Nakamura, generated on a Sega Genesis emulator. Using "gens" emulation I captured 4 audio channels which were then expanded upon. These four tracks were further broken down with filters and multiband decomposition, thus isolating each instrument into a seperate track. Gates and other rhythmic processing was used to accentuate the pitched percussion track, which is nearly impossible to discern in the original theme. The synthesizer parts feed through through various stereo/chorusing, distortion/amp modules, delays and finally reverb. (and now for the REALLY BORING details...) The 2nd part of the track was synthesized on a roland XV3080 using slightly modified factory presets, and features percussion from the Supreme Dance expansion ROM. The parts were played live from various MIDI controllers and sequenced in Cakewalk Sonar 3.0. Due to the MONO ch/low bitrate audio encoding done by YouTube, the high frequency content is muffled. To compensate for this lack of detail, several mixes were laid down without regard to phasing problems and agressive filtering with high Q applied which seemed to add to a lo-fi reproduction of the track. -- [Video]: 132 rings in 1:14 played by Alex. Also features some retarded video effects :) -- [Note]: Please leave a comment if you watched the video, this is v2 and I update videos often. (Less)
