I won't go into details, but we had this incredible design for a planet of droids. We actually did the first pass on art and built the character models for the location. But we had to look at the schedule and make a big cut after E3. We cut the entire planet. At the time, we were afraid it would make the game too short - but fortunately, there is so much other content, that wasn't the case. And we used a lot of elements from that planet elsewhere in the game. Ultimately, I think it made the game better, but it really hurt at the time, especially for the designer who had almost finished the planet, Kevin Saunders." -- Chris Parker, Producer of Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Apparently cut from KOTOR2, planet M4-78 exists as an unfinished set of droid modules. At one point, a group of modders (self-named "Team Bantha") intended to mod this back into the PC version of the game but their efforts have been discontinued. Where to download the Droid Planet Modules: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/n.anderson4/Modules.rar Warning: If you board the Ebon Hawk on the Landing Arm, you'll be stuck. You can't disembark and the Navcom is not functional, so you'll have to reload the save. There are a few remaining areas that are not connected. (For example, going to the Landing Arm to the Central Zone is a one--way trip and so on.) There isn't much to do in these areas anyway. They're mainly curiosities so you aren't missing much... unless you miss the Firaxan sharks and sea beast from Manaan. (The sharks and sea-monsters were most likely placeholders unless the developers were dedicated fans of the movie "Johnny Mnemonic.")
