Downtown San Diego Penthouse In the course of doing Real Estate in Downtown San Diego, it is always a pleasure to list and review (More) In the course of doing Real Estate in Downtown San Diego, it is always a pleasure to list and review totally unique urban homes. This rare Southwest corner penthouse on the 9th floor in Brittany Towers is one of the most stunning and unique that I have run across here in my Downtown San Diego experience. I say rare, because this orientation and floor become available only every couple of decades or so. Since Brittany tower was constructed in 1999, this same floor plan from floor 8 and above has only been available twice. Brittany Towers is one of the most unique and stunning buildings in 92101. The luxury complex is most known for its architectural feature of slanted and tinted exterior windows, sweeping "hilltop" Skyline and Bay views, and proximity to Balboa Park. The Brittany Tower home is most attractive to the urban homebuyer who wants to combine views, space, and a location that is "close" to the action. Without "being in the middle" of the hustle and bustle of Downtown. The complex features include: Full time security and community attendant, pool, indoor spa, fitness center, and elegant community room and party facilities. When you first walk thru the door of this contemporary and elegant home, your eye is drawn to the sweeping 270 degree South West views of the Downtown Skyline, Pt. Loma, the North Bay, the Airport, and Coronado. Walking into the living room, it is easy to be impressed by the size and openness of the living space. A two bedroom two bath plus den floor plan at over 2200 square feet puts this urban home in the top 1% for Square footage in 92101. One of the main architectural features of the building and home are the corner "wrap around" windows. The windows in the Brittney Tower complex are like no others Downtown, and set the tone for design and feeling when inside one of its upscale homes. They have a noticeable slant and tint that: protect the day views from overexposure, and protect the night views from the glare of indoor lighting. This architectural feature contributes to the contemporary, spacious and urban feeling of this penthouse home. In order to maximize the "wow" factor of this home, the owners performed a "floor to ceiling" remodel consisting of over $4ook in upgrades. All the upgrades were so thoughtful, tasteful creating a real urban "experience" thru design and architecture. This is one of those units you have to see, touch, and feel in order to get the full effect of its experience. (Less)

Girls Kiss Girls!!! It's time for another hot joint from NO GOOD TV's Hustla's Ball hosted by Shark Firestone and featuring Pittsburgh Slim.
Pittsburgh Slim is an American rapper from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began as a member of the Pittsburgh indie rap group, Strict Flow, and after relocating to Los Angeles, California, released the single "Girls Kiss Girls". The song gained popularity from its video on YouTube, leading Slim to sign to Def Jam Recordings, where he debuted with the album, Tastemaker, in December 2007.
Slim was born and raised in the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to an Algerian father and a part-Mexican mother. He began working on beats and rhymes around 1993 while starting Allderdice High School, where he graduated in 1997. He played in rock bands and formed the rap group, Strict Flow, in 1996, with Masai Turner, Chad Glick, and Eric Dan. The group signed to indie label Raw Shack in 1999, and released the single "People on Lock". Their debut album, Homegrown, sold over 6,000 copies, an unprecedented amount for a Pittsburgh hip hop group. Strict Flow opened local shows for artists such as Nelly, Jurassic 5, Usher, Nas, The Roots, Ja Rule and 50 Cent, but after releasing the album Without Further Ado in 2003, the group split up.
Slim relocated to Los Angeles, California in 2005 and worked as a waiter while he continued to work on his music. Slim conceived of a song based on the line "I like when girls kiss girls", and turned to North Carolina-based producer David Willis, also known as Ski Beatz, for help with the production. For the song, "Girls Kiss Girls", they made an American Pie-inspired video that featured Penthouse magazine model Krista Ayne. The video became a sensation on the video sharing website YouTube and started getting radio station play across the United States, beginning with KISS-FM in Pittsburgh.
Slim began receiving offers from record labels to release the single, but held out for an offer to make an album. Slim met with rapper and Def Jam CEO, Jay-Z, and was offered a five album deal with the label. Slim had come up with the name Pittsburgh Slim four years earlier, based on a line from Jay-Z's song, "So Ghetto" from Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter, where he rapped "Iceberg, Slim, baby ride rims", referencing author and pimp Iceberg Slim. Slim released the single "Girls Kiss Girls" on Def Jam and his album, Tastemaker, was released on December 4, 2007. Slim appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly on December 11, 2007 and will appear in the film, The Bleeding, starring Vinnie Jones, Michael Matthias, Michael Madsen, DMX and Armand Assante.
