Hey guys it's Trev back again to bring you another video review. This time it will be of the season 5 premiere of Breaking Bad which just premiered on AMC. This episode is called, 'live free or die'. There were a lot of interesting plot developments in this episode. We got to see Heisenburg come out as part of Walt even further than we have so far in which he threatens Sol and tells him, "we're done when I say we're done." Ted has recovered and luckily is not dead even though most of us probably thought he would be. He also hasn't said anything about what Skylar asked Sol to do. The main plot point of the episode though would have to be Walt coming to the realization that the tapes from the cameras were stored on Gus' hard drive in his laptop and thus having to track it down and destroy it. The cops of course have their hands on it so they have to be creative to think of a way to destroy it. Jesse comes up with a brilliant idea and they use magnets to scramble the drive. This episode was very exciting and absolutely brilliant overall. Also very interesting is the before the credits intro scene where we get to see Walt called Mr. Lambert and seemingly in some kind of either witness protection or having changed his identity for some reason. Very interesting stuff. I love when they show us something out of chronological order for us to sort of think about and then have it come full circle later on in the story. Season 5 is going to be split into 2 parts. This summer we'll do 8 episodes and next summer the second half with another 8. I am still stoked and can't wait to see how it all turns out. I am giving, 'live free or die' breaking bad season 5 episode 1 a 9 out of 10. Excellent! (Less)
