Now we all just assumed Brit's Femme Fatale tour was killing it, and we even named it the number one tour to attend for the summer! But sources are saying it's not exactly doing as well as planned. The National Enquirer, which isn't exactly the most reliable of sources, is saying that the tour isn't grossing enough money, so the promoters have been forced to put half price tickets on Groupon to up sales. Insiders say Britney doesn't even know what's going on, and that she's under the impression that everything is going great. A Live Nation rep is disputing the rumor, saying, "Offering a deal on Groupon is not a reflection of the quality or status or sales of a show" and adding that the promotions were part of a strategy.But seriously, slow tickets sales aren't surprising at this point, and it doesn't mean she doesn't still have die hard fans. It just that not everyone can afford tickets to her shows! At some of the venues, the cheapest seats at Femme Fatale were over 100 bucks! Now According to Pollstar's mid-year tour report, the Femme Fatale tour ranked at 55th place, grossing $6.2 million, but that was just from the first 10 shows.
