America was feeling nostalgic in the wake of Watergate. Harry Truman had recently passed and was becoming the centerpiece for all of this nostalgia. Books, articles, plays, documentaries were flooding the stores and airwaves after his passing. Robert Lamm was inspired by this wave and contributed by writing the song "Harry Truman". It was a minor hit in the Summer of 1975 and can be found on the album 'Chicago VIII'.
Trivia: You'll see actor James Whitmore in this clip. He's now 86 and is still one of the hardest working men in show business. He currently has a regular role on the CSI series.
