In order to do this our training philosophy entails learning to move the body in functional patterns which incorporate strength, balance, core stabilization and kinesthetic awareness. There are six primal patterns of motion needed for survival: Squat, Bend, Push, Pull, Twist and Lunge. Various combinations of the six primal patterns produce every possible human movement. Therefore it is extremely important that we are proficient in all six primal movement patterns. At the same time we integrate Yoga Postures/Tai-Chi and martial arts movements as well as Smiling Heart meditation or focused relaxation to de-stress and center oneself bringing positive healing energy in your mind and body. Learning to silence the mind, strengthen one's positive feelings and self-image not only helps us to live and act more from within our hearts but also to feel gratitude, appreciation and the joy of living more in the present moment.
