I turned over in the covers to the whispers my family were creating. I was too tired to open my eyes.
"Shh, she's waking up" My mother whispered to my baby sister, Lyla.
I squinted my eyes in the bright light coming through the window. I rubbed them before getting used to the brightness and opening my eyes fully.
"Happy Birthday!" My mum and Lyla shouted.
Lyla dived on my bed and started to bounce up and down. My mum held my birthday cake in her hand, a boring plain sponge cake with a jam and cream filling.
"Get up, Get up!" Lyla demanded falling on me.
"Leave me alone" I groaned into my pillow, hiding my head in it.
"Come on sweetie you're sixteen, you should be ecstatic" My mum said as she leant down a bit holding the cake closer to me. "Come on make a wish"
I turned my head out of the pillow so I was looking at the ugly cake.
"It doesn't even have candles, I can't make a wish without candles" I stuck my head back into my pillow.
"Fine" My mum sighed, I watched her as she dug in her back pocket before pulling out a crinkled five pound note. "There after school go buy some candles from Mrs Clover's shop I'm sure she'll give you a discount."
I pulled my arm up from my side and took the money before bringing it back to my side.
"Come on Lyla, we'll leave Jo to get ready for school" My mum said as she helped Lyla off the bed. "Oh and Darling don't be late for school, again" She closed the door over leaving it just a crack open.
I looked at my clock that stood on the bedside table beside my bed, I had thirty minutes to get ready for school and put on my disgustingly horrible uniform.

I lazily pulled the cover off me and pushing it to the side; I stretched before walking over to the small wardrobe. I searched through it, eventually finding my uniform. I pulled it out and laid it on the bed.
I took my onesie of and put the uniform on, tied my shoes and grabbed my bag. I frantically opened it and ran over to my desk, I quickly changed my books and threw it over one shoulder then putting my arm in the other one. I darted down the stairs combing my hair with the pocket brush in my blazer.
"Have a nice day" My mum waved from the kitchen as she set the cake down on the table.
"Bye" I shortly answered and jogged out the door.
I closed it and took my bag off my back making the straps bigger so it hung lower down my back. I put it back on my back and rolled up my skirt and loosened my tie. Once happy with my appearance I started to walk down the street.
"Hey birthday girl" Alyvia shouted over at me as she crossed to the side of the path I was walking on.
"Hi" I smiled.
"So what have you got?"
"Er, nothing yet" I said looking at the now becoming rather interesting ground.
"What nothing?" I shook my head. "Well then this will certainly be the best present ever" She stopped and opened her bag before pulling out a present.
"You shouldn't have" I told her.
"I wanted to" She passed me the soft present.
I shook it, nothing. I started to feel it, trying to know what it was before I had even opened it. I started to peel away a bit of cello tape, before curiosity got the better of me and I ripped it open. I looked at it and saw a top that said: 'Johanne loves one direction' it also had a picture of One direction.
"Haha, I love it" I hugged her.
"No problem" She said.
"Where's your brother?" I asked looking behind us for any sign of him.
"He's picking up Raina" Alyvia said, and almost on queue they came around the corner in Ray's land rover.
Nessie P.O.V.
"Bye Nessie" My dad said while I opened the car door and got out.
"Bye dad" I said eager for him to leave.
"Tell Johanne happy birthday from me and your mum" He put on a fake smile.
"Ok will do" I said ready to close the door.
I waited a second before giving it a hard push shut. I put my arm through the other strap and held my files to my chest. I didn't really see the point in my rucksack I most of my stuff in my hand. I scanned the school yard for anyone I could talk to. I saw Alyvia and Johanne walking in the school gates and walked over to them.
"Hey guys" I waved at them as they came up to me.
"Hey Nessie" They replied.
"So what have you got for your birthday?" I asked only seeing a t-shirt in her hand.
"A crappy cake and a present" She sighed.
"Make that two" I smiled. They looked at me and frowned. "My dad's dropping at your house because I couldn't bring it to school and I don't think you would want to bring it home"

Never Let You Go - Episode 2 Part 2 Jasmine's POV: I woke up to the sound of the waves (More) Jasmine's POV: I woke up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Children were happily playing out at the beach. I went over to the window and saw the sunrise and the waves gently moving up and down. I'm going to go down there. After a few minutes I was finished with brushing my teeth and taking a shower. I wore www.polyvore.com It was a little cold out there so I decided not to wear shorts. Justin's POV: Ryan and I were just hanging out at the beach and just passing the frisbee back and forth. It was alright so far, nobody noticed me yet. Might as well enjoy this while it lasts. The frisbee was in my hand and I was just about to throw it back to Ryan when I saw a misterious girl who looked just about my age walk right past Ryan. She stood frozen in her spot, arms crossed, looking out towards the ocean. I was expecting her to notice us since she was so close, but she didn't. Ryan: "Dude, pass it already!" I guess he didn't notice the girl behind him. I grantd his wish and threw it. For a second, I thought it was going to hit the girl in the head but luckily it didn't. Ryan: "I gotta go take a piss really bad. Here take it!" He didn't have the patience to make sure I got it so he just randomly flung it in the air. This time, I wasn't so lucky. While the frisbee was still in the air, the wind blew, and landed hard on the girl's head. Jasmine: "Ow!" She picked it up. Justin: "Sorry, it hit you by accid -" She turned around and all I could see was a true beauty <b>...</b> (Less)
