MISS ROBIN BANK$ has her Blues roots deeply dug. Although quite comfortable with Jazz, R&B, Soul and even Reggae, she is best known for her bold and brassy, classy but sassy, Texas and Chicago electric Blues style. Having worked and recorded with Blues heavyweights like Sam Myers, Johnny Moeller, Nick Curran and Hash Brown, Miss Banks became a staple in the Texas music scene and continues to enjoy and record in the Lone Star state. She has 4 independently released CDs to her credit and makes regular tours to Europe and the Caribbean, but recently made Toronto Canada her home. And while in Canada, she is backed by members of the Downchild Blues Band and Fathead, two of the country's most recognized Blues acts. ROBIN BANK$ has a vocal style, strength and clarity that has been compared to Etta James and Dinah Washington. She is a recipient of a Maple Blues Award for New Artist of the Year and was twice nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. She recently performed at Massey Hall in Toronto as part of the celebrated annual Women's Blues Revue event. A powerhouse vocalist, band leader, songwriter, producer and premier entertainer, ROBIN BANK$ is known in the music industry as "the real deal". Catch her live in the act!
