Happy Monday everyone, you are tuned into ClevverMusic for all your music updates. Glee fans you heard correctly, TV network FOX has confirmed they have renewed the show for another 2 seasons, and will be serenading us through 2015. As of season 4, the show has an average of 8.7 million viewers per episode and 3.6 rating among adults 18-49. Glee has constantly been reinventing itself since its debut over 4 years ago and the network couldn't be more excited about two more seasons. An entertainment chairman from FOX announced Friday, "Glee debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on television, and more than four years later, it continues to defy genres, break new ground and have a significant impact on popular culture...and I'm absolutely thrilled to have them on board another two seasons." And so are we!! Even Glee star Lea Michele who plays Rachel Barry is excited about the news tweeting, "Such great news! Glee will be back for season 5 and 6! I'm so happy!!! Can't wait to see what Rachel will be up to next year! #gleeseason5". So does that mean Rachel's character will for sure be back next season? Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we hope to continue her NYADA New York storyline as well as the kids in Lima at McKinley High. Naya Rivera who plays Santana tweeted in response to a fan saying that her character will be returning, "of course! Santana isn't going anywhere. ;)".The current season 4 is rapidly coming to a close, with the May 9th season finale rapidly approaching. Next week, Sarah Jessica Parker is set to guest star again, and soon we will finally see 'American Idol' singer Jessica Sanchez make her Glee debut before Season 4 wraps.
