Early main influences were old school thrash metal and the first wave of metalcore. Afterwards, the band focused on live activity and released in 2009 an EP called "Desertified"Desertified was a real "milestone", that album signified a radical shift for the band introducing new sounds and compositive elements thanks to the heterogeneous musical interests of the members.After that radical change the band fell in a long period of oblivion, guitarist and drummer decided to call it quit. This event made them feel really "crucified" and stops them for about 1 year. However this didn't stop the musical impulse of Your Anguish who continued to grow up and to write new songs.
