In INLOVE Introdans Ensemble for Youth once again delivers the goods in the way we expect from this dynamic and lively ensemble. For almost 25 years Introdans Ensemble for Youth has been presenting jewels from the national and international dance repertoire, performed at a high technical level. This season it turns to the inspiring theme of 'love'.
Loaves of bread in love, touching and crazy duets, a goodnight kiss from your loving mum, being buried under a shower of rose petals... However wild your imagination may be, you'll find even crazier things happening in INLOVE.
The programme features seven fun and absorbing choreographies presented at a rapid tempo suitable for a young audience. The works included the humorous Pas de Danse by Mats Ek, which for years has been one of the ensemble's best-loved pieces in the repertoire. One new work for the company is Longing by Uri Ivgi and Johan Greben, a story about innocent love between a prince and a princess that also has a sting in the tail.
INLOVE is concluded by Sinfonía India, another premiere for Introdans. This superb work was created by Nacho Duato in 1984; taking the lead from the composer Carlos Chávez, he drew his inspiration from the ritual dances of Mexican Indians. This resulted in a sparkling choreography full of vitality, joy of dance and passion. It's a dance that you'll fall in love with!
