I had a big change in my life. When Lucy was with me, nobody tried to do anything bad. It was a great change in my life. It would never be any better then this time. Nothing could go wrong anymore. I was in love with the hottest girl in school and the best thing was, she loves me too.
Days passed of living together. Sleeping with each other and having fun. We had the best time of our lives. But it all changed. Today we went shopping again. It was as great as always. But then there happened something. There was a fast driving car. It lost control. Lucy wasn´t able to avoid or jump away from it. It was bad. I got her in my hands. Why god? She didn't do anything wrong! 'Call an ambulance!' I screamed. 'It suddenly started to get darker. It started raining. The 5 minutes before the ambulance and police arrived took forever. Everything happened in slow motion. 1 second looked like 1 hour. She was unconsious. The ambulance arrived. She was transported to the nearby hospital.
I was with her for hours that day. Even if she couldn't talk or move. I talked to her. I didn't know what to do. My parents called and told me that i could better go home. 'Yes. Maybe it is better for me.' I said back. When I looked outside, It was raining heavily. Now that I mention it, it was raining since the accident. I didn't know it could be this long and this heavy during this hot summer. When I left, the women of the reception said, 'there's a letter for you'. I took that letter home. At home I'd go directly to my room. When I opened the letter there was a black glow coming of the letter. It felt strange. It felt like death. Even though I didn't knew what death felt like. On the letter there was standing: 'Silence before storm'. What did that mean. It was storming already. There wasn't standing who it was from or anything. Strange.
The next morning there was thunder and the rain got heavier. I'd close my curtains. When I turned around I saw another letter on my desk. I was shocked. It looked the same as the one from before. It couldn't be the same because I threw it away. Again when i opened there was a black glow coming from it. The same feeling as before. But what was written on it this time? 'tonight the storm starts' was written. What did that mean. Is there something going to happen tonight? Is this a joke? No it can't be.
Just like yesterday I talked to Lucy. I told here everything that happened today. I even told her about the letter I got without knowing from who. She was still unconcius from that accident. The doctor said there wasn't very much chance of survival, but they were trying all they could do to let her live.
I stayed there for 2 hours. I still didn't know what to do without her. I was missing her smile and her love. I hope I can still reach her with my love. I don't know what to do. I was thinking of going home. But I didn't realise I was going somewhere else. I was thinking about Lucy. How would she feel now. What is she thinking now. I stopped with walking. Where am I? Whitout my knowledge I was standing in front of the accident site. There fell a letter out of the sky. When I opened it there again was a black glow coming out of it. 'the world will change' was written. What kind of change. I was really getting scared of those letters.
At home I ate supper and I'd go to my bed. I was tyred. When I'd put my head on the pillow I heard cracking. Again there ws a letter. How do they get here? I asked myself. I'd open it. As expected there was a black glow coming from the letter. 'Change comes from above'. What did that mean. I'd simply not know. I'd better go and get some sleep. Last night i didn't get much. I was thinking about Lucy too much. When I lied down I looked trough my window. What i saw there was unbelievable. I said to myself: 'This is not the change I wanted' (Less)

Ken Russell's film was disturbingly life-like. I saw it first at its public showing, being myself out of action when it was made. Even so, Christopher Gable, as me, had begged me to spare his feelings and keep away from the set. I was finally called to the studios, however, to record the music in the scene where Delius, propped up in bed, listens to Percy Grainger and myself playing Percy's two-piano arrangement of The Song of the High Hills in the music room. On my arrival I found Russell immersed in directing a 'retake' of my first meeting with Delius with which Max Adrian was still not satisfied. I was ushered into the studio to wait, and was just in time to hear that deliberate and unforgettable greeting, 'Come in, Fenby !'. I had mimicked Delius weeks before at Russell's suggestion as a guide to Adrian learning his lines and behaving exactly like Delius. But this was too much for me - the voice, the inflection, the image of Delius sitting there, a rug over his knees with a great screen about him, slowly extending his hand in welcome. I lived that momentous moment again, I am unashamed to say, and not without tears. Max Adrian told me later that of all the roles he had ever played he had never before had such difficulty in ridding himself of involvement".
