Netanyahu adds YouTube spoof of AIPAC 'Duck… New video mixes Prime Minister’s reference to Iran (More) New video mixes Prime Minister’s reference to Iran as a 'nuclear duck' in his address before the pro-Israel lobby in the U.S.
This isn’t the first time Netanyahu has adopted a satirical jab aimed at him. Following an official photograph depicting the recently released IDF soldier Gilad Shalit hugging his father, with the PM looking on in the background, a meme was initiated which depicted Netanyahu “photo bombing” historical events, movie scenes, and so on
Eventually, Netanyahu added his own version of the meme, a photo of himself addressing the 66th UN General Assembly at the UN headquarters this year, with an image of the smiling prime minister superimposed in the background.
A speech bubble emerges from Netanyahu's smiling mouth saying, "Doogri, you made me laugh."

A YouTube spoof of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech on Iran’s nuclear program went viral on Wednesday, to the extent that the premier posted the humorous video on his official Facebook page.
The video, which has gone on to receive hundreds of "likes" on the PM's page, targeted the portion of Netanyahu’s speech in which he addressed Israel’s certainty over Iran’s nuclear intentions, urging the international community to act nowin order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons capabilities.
"If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then what is it? That's right, it's a duck. But this duck is a nuclear duck and it's time the world started calling a duck a duck," the premier said.
In response to Netanyahu’s evocation of the “duck” metaphor, a video surfaced on YouTube mocking the PM’s rhetoric, mixing sound-bites from his speech with Daffy Duck clips with dance music in the background.
On Tuesday, the speech was referenced on Jon Stewart’s popular The Daily Show, where the American comedian said Iran’s use of the metaphor comparing Israel to a “cancerous growth” was a better than Netanyahu’s “duck.”

Result of Netanyahu's Visit to the US: Obama and… Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned (More) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned from Washington, D.C., and his aides are calling his meeting with US President Barack Obama a success. While the American president didn't give formal approval for an Israeli strike on Iran, military action was not ruled out, and Netanyahu's supporters say that Obama acknowledged Israel's right to act unilaterally to defend itself.
Netanyahu and Obama spent over two hours together in relatively amicable meetings, but the US and Israel say the talks were serious and productive. Netanyahu stated that Israeli had not made a final decision on whether to strike preemptively, and Obama said he didn't define any "red lines" or triggers which would compel US approval or military assistance. However, Netanyahu's aides say the Israeli PM did succeed in narrowing the window for attempts at diplomatic resolution to the nuclear crisis.
Analysts say that Israel is waiting for the United States to take the lead on any military action against Iran. Not only would the American military be much more effective, but analysts believe that America would have far more international support. But the United States is not ready to take direct action. President Obama insists that sanctions are having a devastating effect on Iran's economy and that they need more time to work. Obama's upcoming reelection campaign is also a factor, and Americans are already tired from two long wars in the Middle East.
Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak says that Iran will soon enter a "zone of immunity" in which it will not be possible to disable Iran's nuclear programme with a preemptive military strike. However, only 30% of Israelis support a strike on Iran without US support, so Netanyahu is not likely to take any action yet. International negotiations between Iran and the United Nations look set to resume, even as the Islamic republic is alleged to be sanitising nuclear sites in order to conceal evidence from IAEA inspectors.
JN1 interviewed Israeli Knesset member Aryeh Eldad for his view on the situation. MK Eldad said, "I don't think Netanyahu made things easier for President Obama because if he told him Israel decided to attack on these dates, this would make President Obama be exempted from the decision to attack. Netanyahu left it to his decision to attack, to make the right decision, that the United States will take the military action that is needed. The effectiveness of an attack on Iran will be diminished everyday that passes. If we will postpone the attack for 6 months than it will be far less effective than if we conduct it tomorrow." (Less)
