Carol Baumann along with her mother and 8-year-old cat named Porsche were evacuated by boat from Chadwick Island during the storm in November.The family had decided to stay with relatives in a town about 8 miles away after they lost power and running water. After several days of temporarily living in a new place, Porsche, unfamiliar with his surroundings took off and couldn’t be found.For the past 6 months, Baumann and her family have chased and hunted down leads and sightings hoping to find their beloved kitty, but eventually they returned home on April 29th, fearing Porsche passed away.
